What the fuck is this nonsense? When is it ever 'wrong' to debate? I just can't even.

Sarah Murphy@13sarahmurphy.bsky.social

Doesn’t matter how you voted if you were front and centre in a Brexit government, actively overseeing the shrinking of our economy, our influence and our opportunities, while you rolled around in the trough. We’ll be disregarding everything you now say, thanks.

But hey <insert tedious journo usual suspect here> do feel free to keep asking this question ad nauseam

ITV's Good Morning Britain ask Andy Burnham if he's planning an early election: "no, no I've ruled that out"

But he would have graciously accepted victory, one presumes.

Also turns out bottled water is the new toilet paper. Supermarket empty this morning. I'll have to use the water butt I guess.

1. This is getting very 'We know something you don't', rarely a good look 2. Why 3 days? Cos it matches the crucifixion/resurrection interregnum?

"Offer treatment instead" only works if the treatment exists. His government spent a decade cutting the services that would provide it.

What is this argument from Jenrick about immigration reducing GP availability? Population of UK has grown by 20% since 1990, and appts. at GP surgeries are still available. It's almost like GP numbers scaled with population growth.

$80bn loss sounds bad for Anthropic but $72bn is non-cash accounting adjustments. Revenue rose steeply to $16.3 billion in H1 of 2026, compared to $1.1 billion during the same period in 2025. IPO is expected next month with possible value of $1.5tn.

Love that you can have your domain as your handle on Bluesky

Octopus Energy@octopus.energy

"Is it actually realistic to get off gas?” Octopus CEO: yes. In some places, it’s already a reality. In Norway, 97% of new cars are EVs and 66% of homes have heat pumps. Their bills are largely sheltered from the gas crisis this winter. Britain's got to catch up.

I think in that investigation, the hideous Paedophilic comments took my disgust of Farage and his racist party to a new level - Tice inferred yesterday what we heard is ‘normal chat by regular people’ so this party who claims to ‘protect woman and girls’ is the very opposite 🤢

Reform's defence seems to be "yeah if you investigate Labour and Conservative they have loads of racists too Establishment stitch up" No, not everyone is racist, fuck you #r4today

Hmm, so according to Farage, the uncovering of racist Reform councillors is an establishment stitch-up. <strokes beard>

Absolutely dying laughing at 'heavily medicated' at the time. Yeah, I remember when I hurt my arm and was on codeine, I too started seeing secret Muslims whenever I looked at the Royal Family.

More proof that anyone who says "I'm not racist" is absolutely a racist.

Still sore about that by-election you lost Matt?

Adam Bienkov@adambienkov.bsky.social

Don't hide behind your followers Matt. Tell us what YOU think about it

I don't there is 'zero benefit' to opening up Rosebank and Jackdaw oilfields. We're using the resources anyway, and in contrast to imports, there would be tax receipts #r4today

I'm sure Farage thinks it's a politically sound move to call Burnham a liar. But I'm not convinced. That accusation works on those that come over as a little dishonest, but can backfire on people who seem genuine.

Huge special thanks to @bsky.app for partnering with me on the October 20 stream with @alexgibneyfilm.bsky.social! All of my ETTW livestreams are exclusive to the AT Protocol, for reasons that we will very much be discussing throughout the various conversations. Recordings will be available later.

This is a very important graph! Save it and show it to anyone who claims that Ukraine is responsible for higher diesel prices. Ukrainian attacks on russian oil refineries started in November 2025 and they had no impact on the price. The price skyrocketed right after Trump started the war in Iran.

It really would be interesting to see the volume of tweets and FB posts in a week or so on a daily trend graph

Christ, even the shadow chancellor said that only 1 in 6 pay inheritance tax. It's a bloody awful policy and it's disappointing to see the walrus chorus at the Tory conference clapping their flippers at it #bbclaurak

Who knew if you spend billions on software you get better software? Useful idiot Tom Watson displaying his stating-the-bleeding-obvious credentials on #r4today this morning.

We have some very good software companies in the UK, and many brilliant software engineers. Yet we give huge IT contracts to a US giant.

Yes but it wasn't really about the money. It was about the feelz

Dan Neidle@danneidle.bsky.social

Kemi Badenoch wants to exempt the family home from inheritance tax. But that creates a perverse incentive for elderly people to *upsize* to save IHT. That could double the cost of the policy, and push £100bn+ from savings into housing. A 🧵 on bad tax cuts.
