Came across a diamond cross necklace, and it made me wonder things. Given all of Jesus' teachings, is a diamond studded necklace the definitive way He would want you to show your faith? Is a diamond studded cross really a demonstration of your understanding of His lessons?

I left X a few years ago. I won't even use it to promote fundraising for the children's hospital anymore. I have been lambasted by devoted followers of artists for being vocal about "I will not compromise my beliefs and stances because the 'audience' is there." I refuse to do that.

If you want the audience to be a on a newer platform like Bsky, then you need to be here to make this platform have a reason for the audience to be here. You can't expect to make a new account on here and have the same 450k followers you have there overnight. It doesn't work that way.

Is the idea of a sale perfect? Absolutely not. I'd love to get a refund check for my stuff, but real world rationale is it's impossible for Nintendo to determine every single item every single person bought from every single retailer. And a credit isn't really better than a sale. You still spend $$

A credit directly to your account is a set dollar amount. You can't make any extra use of it. $30 is $30, or $25 is $25. However, a sale let's you save some here, save some there, save on this, save on that. It adds up. Your savings can be $10 or $80 depending on what you decide to get.

Now let's compare. They said the sale is "30% off dozens of Nintendo Switch digital games and bundles, plus savings on select physical games, downloadable content, accessories, amiibo, and apparel." Let's assume the sale is "up to 30%" off rather than 30% across the board.

Then people say a set amount for all, Person A gets $25 for buying 1 pro and Person B gets $25 for buying 1 pro, while Person B got 2 pro, 1 joycon set, and 1 dock. How is that fair? Why should everyone get the same amount regardless? And how much? Doubtful to be any more than $30.

Again, still got receipts for the pro controller at Meijer in August 2025, joycons at Walmart in December 2025, 2nd Pro from Costco in March 2026? Got those receipts to give Nintendo, cause you'll need the proof? How is Nintendo supposed to calculate your amount owed and get the check to you? How?
