Why didn’t anyone tell me there was a new season of Slow Horses out? I pulled an all nighter at the drawing board and binged it.

Can't stress this enough, if you're a fan of #DoctorWho you should give Mike & my SILVER SURFER run a try. It's very true to Surfer canon, but, yeah, it's a love letter to DOCTOR WHO. We openly admit it. 5 trade paperbacks (or one Omnibus), 29 issues long and has a clear beginning, middle, & end.

Holy shit!

Finished this audiobook. Definitely going to reread in print. I’ve never read a book told in the 2nd person and it’s spot on for satire. Especially, likely, for a man writing about a Filipino woman. This is my first Tom Robbins. I know it’s not one of his most famous. Definitely will read more.

As a “palate cleanser” before diving into something heavier, I read The Little Prince and I really wish someone would have warned me that I’d want to cry. That said, it was wonderful and reminded me a lot of Vonnegut.

I read Cormac McCarthy’s BLOOD MERIDIAN and it was every bit as good as advertised. My first thought is that the entire thing was an excuse for the jaw dropping passages about nature and death. There’s a lot to interpret here, including the ending. I can imagine many rereads in the coming years.
