Claude adds an essay-length tome covering the package what it did when opening an "Add package" PR for Swift Package Index. Mail for iOS summarises the email down to a "Pull request opened. Adds `package name`. Review requested." notification. I think everything is working as intended πŸ˜‚

Is it just me that can hear a shade of Kermit the frog in the opening line of "New York, I Love You" by LCD Soundsystem? Oh, and if this makes you go listen to it, you're welcome. πŸ˜‚

I really like the new increased colour saturation across iOS 27 and macOS Golden Gate, especially in stock app icons. It'll be interesting to see if third party developers go that way too now it has shipped.

It's so great that macOS has inertial scrolling so you can quickly scroll through very long lists until you need to use it to select your birth year πŸ‘΄

It's amazing how sensitive to change I am when it comes to keyboards. I've been using a Apple keyboard with the numpad for years and just got a new one, which has a very slightly different layout (they moved the fn key) and it's suddenly like I'm using someone else's hands πŸ˜‚

I’m also going through a β€œseason change” at the moment with the transition away from iOS Dev Weekly, and very much enjoyed this post from @viticci.macstories.net. Certainly worth your time

Here's an easter egg in the new Lego Batman that I think all of you will REALLY appreciate. It's so good, I had to make a video.

Oh my gosh bsky.app/profile/kott... Listen to it all, but make sure not to miss Fitter Happier in Mario's accent πŸ˜‚ I really love how they have echoed the feel of the specific games, too. Incredible.

GitLab has been fundamentally broken for *months* now. In addition to the long standing error where it gives a 500 error during 4/5 login attempts, the last few months it has been completely unable to list projects you are a member of or have starred. How does anyone use it?

We’re interviewing @orta.io tomorrow about how CocoaPods is transitioning into maintenance mode. Do you have questions you’d like answered about the transition? Is there anything concerning you? Would you like to say thanks to the team? Reply or mail contact@swiftpackageindex.com with questions.
