Get the exclusive Meowrinth sticker (along with a bunch others from some of your favorite projects) in the mail when you complete the Modtoberfest 2026 challenge by submitting at least 4 valid PRs to participating repos before October ends!

The Unown Font mod has been ported to 26.1.x! This update also brings a lot of new content for building and decorating! #mcdev #minecraft #pokemon #pokopia

The Mew mural is based on the Mysterious Slate puzzle in Pokopia. Each piece has a dimly glowing unown on the back. Placing them all in the right order completes the mural!

In Pokopia, completing the puzzle summons Mew! In this mod, you get an achievement. If Cobblemon or Pixelmon are ported to this version, I think it could be fun to have the advancement spawn a mew for the player. Maybe with increased shiny odds?

Another new mod! Wolf Enchantments makes wolf armor enchantable and adds 11 new enchantments! My favorite one is the Dire enchantment which makes your wolf 50% bigger and boosts their max health! #mcdev #minecraft

My CurseForge profile is back, and so is my new mod Iron Wolf Armor! This mod lets you craft wolf armor using common armor materials. You can also dye all tiers of armor added by the mod! #mcdev #minecraft

A fun fact about this mod, I initially made it when wolf armor was still a snapshot feature and forgot to release it when 1.20.5 came out. It took 2 years for me to remember and actually get the mod released😅

My CurseForge profile currently 404s. I have not been banned or hacked, looks like my total downloads passed the max signed int value, which is breaking the page. CF is aware and looking into it.

Just released Pokeframes, a new Minecraft mod that adds 46 tooltip styles inspired by the classic Gen3 games.

If I had a nickel for every time my mods have been downloaded 1 billion times on @curseforge.com I would have two nickels. That's not a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice. Thanks to everyone who enjoyed my mods for #Minecraft, #Hytale, and all the other games I mod! #mcdev

Looks like the cat's out of the bag 😅 I've been working with CurseForge and Hytale for a bit now to test out the game, and put together some day 1 mods! I am looking forward to sharing more info soon!

It's wild to see #Hytale heading into early access after all these years! I'm really excited to mod this game, and if you want to support my modding work, you can use creator code DARK when buying or upgrading your copy of the game! store.hytale.com

Dark Paintings just got darker! Featuring 9 new fall themed paintings by the incredible Absolem Jackdaw and Foreck! #mcdev #minecraft #pixelart

Just released the first mod I've made in over a year 😅 Iron-Smelters is inspired by Iron-Chests, adding Copper, Iron, Gold, Diamond and Obsidian tier Furnaces, Blast Furnaces and Smokers! Nothing fancy, just faster smelting! Please give it a try and let me know how you like it! #mcdev Get it 👇

After countless hours of development Botany Pots has been ported to Minecraft 1.21.1! Thank you to everyone who joined to beta tests and gave feedback! Downloads are available on CurseForge and Modrinth! #minecraft #mcdev

CurseForge is rolling out a new feature that makes it easier to download and manage data packs! These packs will be automatically loaded for every world using a mod like Open Loader! This currently supports Minecraft 1.21.1 and will be coming to more versions later on. #mcdev @curseforge.com

As previously discussed, I will be dropping support for Forge moving forward. Fabric and NeoForge will continue to be supported as normal. Please read the rest of this thread for more details.

The first project that will drop support for Forge is Bookshelf. Older versions of Bookshelf for Forge will still exist, but they will not continue to receive bug fixes, ports, and other updates.

There are a few special exceptions to this, mainly older versions of Minecraft. Open Loader specifically will be receiving updates as part of a collaborative initiative with other devs and CurseForge.

When the NeoForge project was initially announced I stated that I would be dropping support for legacy Forge after a grace period to allow the rest of the community to migrate. After roughly a year of updates I feel enough time has been given.

There are a number of reasons for my decision to drop support for Forge. The primary reasons are lack of a user base, technical debt, and a lack of innovation.

I've released another new mod! Simple Loot Viewer is a lightweight mod that lets you view loot tables in game! It supports many categories of loot, including mobs, chests, fishing, and archaeology. It also syncs data with servers and has plenty of config options! #mcdev

If you've been following BPot dev you may be concerned that I am releasing so many new mods. Each of these mods has been related in one way or another. For example BPots is moving to loot tables, but there is no readily available system to display loot tables in JEI so I had to build one.

The system I wrote for displaying loot tables is currently powering the new debug command in Bookshelf and this mod. It will also power the BPots JEI plugin when it is released. The code is also open source, so others can use it if they are interested.

A few people have compared this to JER, and while there is a lot of overlap I think we're trying to achieve different things. JER provides in-depth break downs while my mod focuses on showing where the loot can be found and presenting it in a simplified way.

In my testing this reduced the login process by 105kb for vanilla clients. It's not nothing, but it also won't magically fix your networking lag. My hope is that this can help some players with really bad internet connections, and maybe even mitigate some issues with the 2mb packet limit.

This only changes the encoder, the vanilla decoder can already handle this. This should maintain compatibility with a wide range of clients and servers. My mixins may be a bit brash but they seem compatible with the ATM 10 mod set at least.

I also took inspiration from the "Three Primes" of alchemy. Each crop tries to incorporate aspects of a primary element into the mechanics and visuals.

As a little treat for those who made it this far, the mod also has an undocumented alchemy system that can be fully automated using vanilla mechanics. I was going to include it in the guide book after you collect all three crops, but ran out of time for the modjam.

My inspiration for this mod was the "Three Sisters" companion planting technique, where corn, peas, and squash are planted together. The corn provides a trellis for the beans to climb, the beans fix nitrogen into the soil, and the squash covers the ground with its leaves, preventing weeds.
