Daniel Redmond Wallace

I have a clue who came through here last.

If you are in the 901 over the next month or so, come check out some of our very fine gardens. Experience Memphis Gardens is a great way to explore our city and the communities within. It's free to boot! experiencememphisgardens.org

@oxunipress.bsky.social I went to look up "abort" because I was wondering something and the difference between the Oxford Reference and the Oxford Learners entries raises questions. Even more troubling is that the OED version is inaccessible unless I register for an account.

Wisteria season. Making life sneezy but it is striking in its way. Something about it reminds me of rock and roll hair but that could just be me.

It's trig season. 😆

A pretty fantastic scene, if I do say so myself. #mural

Some signs of spring along the way. It's too windy to get the peach blossoms but they are quite elegant.

Sam talks about how great of a learning experience it is to grow from seed to food. #slowfood #communitygardens #choose901

Tesla's biggest shareholders are Musk, Blackrock, Vanguard, and State Street. They all used the vastly over valued stock to buy up whatever else they can and really, really don't want TSLA to tank.

Farmer Debra Lockard and friends discuss digging holes for tomatoes at her urban farm. We made a video about starting plants from seeds for a community garden organization. Feels like the start of something extra rad. #slowfood

Yesterday and today. One is at a former asylum being converted to a recovery center. The other is on the back of what was an outdoors store. I had a job as a bike mechanic there years ago. Today, it is otw to the smoothie place from the job site.

Workplace sights.

There is massive waste in the federal government. We have the information available for all to see.

It's a crowd pleasing movement with Tom Skeemask in the house. #SocietyMemphis #BigMemphis #HatinAintHealthy

None of us can be sure what will “work.” You try multiple things and find your way in. Read some histories of the Civil Rights Movement by those who participated. They were never “sure” of what would work. Some campaigns fizzled out. But persistence, creativity, determination, and focus were key.

Jordan lives by the mantra "Progress Daily." #skateboarding #Society

Does your hardware store carry both Thin Mints and antibiotics?

Sunset at Riverside Marina, Memphis, TN. Most of the place is still trashed from the drought in 2021 but there are signs of how nice it was before then.

Why are we not actively not flying and bringing the whole economy to a halt until they fix what they broke and then some is beyond me.

A snowy pitter patter

RIGHTS. In DEMOCRACIES, we HAVE THEM. Is that CONFUSING, TOM HOMAN, you WHINY ARYAN NAZI?

Follow and support MPAC. They are community activitists based in Westwood, where the xAI computer is and their voice has been suppressed since the start. They didn't want. It's making people sick and just not a benefit to society.

Out and loud for love and kindness.

Live from the 901. More on the way. Yay.

This burger combo is gonna be 🔥. #DixieQueen

Getting that good stuff dropped off cause my friends are real like that. 😎 #eggs

Modern rail practices means more time to look at painting. Grafek's style has a nice way to it. Or so I thought this grey February day. The other junt used the full canvas. #streetart

Most fascists take over at a lowest point and that's a big part of how they get to the goal. These idiots are taking all the credit for the actions that will drop us to that point. It's a strange play on their part.

Inefficient governments are a protection against fascism. Making them more "efficient" really just means one faction can take control more readily. That never works out well for the people.

You cannot use reason to convince MAGA that they are wrong but you may be able to convince a few to disconnect and go outside.

Getting media together for our business plan to do dope things. Stay tuned. #SocietyMemphis #skateboarding #TheCRNKST

USAID has a budget of about $50 billion to provide aid. Lockheed Martin was awarded about $50 billion to provide the need for that aid.

Trump's policies are going to be crippling to much of red state America. People will be looking for another option that is not MAGA and not democrat. They already are. What they most want is hard to identify but it's not what is offered.

If cutting kickbacks and wasteful spending is the goal, they should be starting with the worst offenders.

Should have caught in with the whole "plaid means fast" thing but I would never figure anyone would model themselves after President Skroob or Darth Helmet but we are in that timeline. youtu.be/ZOrzbCueVDI?...

The sky and I making happy little clouds.

More garden work friends. The mantis was crazy big.
