Mainly this is because there a lot of scams around it, many currencies like Bitcoin require a ton of energy consumption, and Trump, Elon and the right support cryptocurrency, but there's some great projects around it. Many aren't scams and envrionmentally friendly. I'm a fan of Cardano. (2/2)

Billionaires have more money than they could ever need but never enough to fill the holes in their souls. They would send every last one of you into an early grave if it meant paying one cent less in taxes.

Nancy like the status quo and control. She has had a remarkable career and now she should retire. People need to learn to retire.

Assad is now gone. He was a brutal tyrant & committed mass atrocities throughout his entire rule. In this war alone, his regime killed more than 600,000 people & displaced more than 12 million from their homes. We have a vital interest in ensuring that what comes next helps to stabilize the region.

Joe Biden’s departing gift for Donald Trump is an Iran on the run. From Syria’s Assad, who’s about to fall, to Hezbollah & Hamas, who’ve been devastated by Israel’s military, Iran’s regional presence is disappearing. The question now is what’ll Trump do w/ this advantage for US national security.

Goodbye, Assad! The murderous, humiliated dictator of Syria has now fled his country, running scared for his life from the very people he oppressed. This tyrant, with the help of his Russian backers, murdered so many families over the years and now gets to watch his statues topple. Good riddance!

My father had mantle-cell lymphoma, which is a form of cancer of the blood. It doesn't go into remission. He worked all of his life, paying insurers for over 50 years. He requested support for special treatment of his cancer. The insurer denied his claim. We need to rethink our healthcare.

Everything is a grift. Everything is an opportunity to bilk his flock. They'll give him their last dime as he takes away their Social Security and Medicare all because he assures them he's making America great. We are a nation of rubes.

Remember 8 years ago when it was a huge deal that Trump wouldn’t divest from his businesses? Seems quaint now

Do you guys ever look at these nominees and just think about the amount of hubris and narcissism it takes for literally any of them to think they are qualified to be a Cabinet Secretary? The lack of self awareness is stunning.

The real-time reporting of South Korea today was far easier to follow along on Bluesky than X. It’s these moments that define these platforms. Bluesky really does have the juice.

I still see people cutting and pasting from the Bad Place to dunk on it here, and I hope you all get that out of your system real soon now

Bluesky doesn’t have to be bigger than Twitter to be successful. It just has to be inviting, engaging and big enough that people can find people and accounts they enjoy engaging with, and or following. Then People tell accounts and friends on other platforms to come here. It’s a SOCIAL network

I don't know who needs to hear this, but "owning the libs" is NOT acceptable criteria for selecting members of a Presidential cabinet that will affect the lives of millions. Picking family members, sex offenders, and Russian assets is proof that trump remains a threat to America.

What bugs me about the intentional devaluing of art by tech is that almost anyone can actually learn how to art. Like, it takes time, and failures abound, but the myth that some people just pop out of the womb with a can or can't stamped on their heads is a crock.

Every single school should have a library & a librarian, to help every single child find the books that will make them readers, and give them all the lifelong benefits of literacy. Libraries & librarians change children's lives FOREVER! #literacy #libraries #librarians

So let me get this straight. If you apply for a job at a grocery store, you have to undergo a background check. But, if you apply to be Director of National Intelligence, you don't? Got it.
