🇧🇷 The Brazilian people just showed how grassroots organizing can defend democracy against the radical right — even in the face of coordinated disinformation campaigns and electoral interference by US Big Tech. Looking forward to Brazil leading the way in regulating these platforms! Já basta!

Reading books indeed feels like an antidote to AI psychosis and letting LLMs completely fry your brain.

According to the article, the malicious ads were served almost always via Google, Yandex, and Vungle, so I'd say yes. At least with Filtr, since over 3/4 of these ads were served to mobile apps, not to browsers.

🚨 NEW 🚨 This is scary. A spyware company launched attacks on journalists via malicious ads, no clicks, no interaction whatsoever required. Highly-targeted, though can be used for mass surveillance. The ad industry is deeply compromised. www.forbes.com/sites/thomas...

A major hallmark of many types of dementia is a neurological condition called anosognosia, which is the physiological inability to recognize or understand one's own cognitive decline and deficits.

Prior to this, Google had only ever given out one $250k bounty for a full chain exploit. AI is a very, very good security researcher/hacker.

🚨NEW🚨 An OpenAI model available to the public was used to generate three zero-days in Chrome, chained to craft an exploit that got the max $250k Google bounty. The message? Better get patching because bad people can do this too. www.forbes.com/sites/the-wi...

Spannend.
