Inspired by this article, I built a small tool in Compose Desktop to more easily iterate through building fancy mesh gradients from @sinasamaki.com's Modifier recipe! Code is here github.com/c5inco/Mesh with the code export assuming you are using the same Modifier recipe

✨ New article out now! Learn how to animate mesh gradients in #JetpackCompose www.sinasamaki.com/mesh-gradients-in-jetpack-compose/

PSA: if you ever used API keys in Opencode you may want to monitor or revoke those keys immediately. Seems a legacy system was hacked overnight. I saw my Open AI, Anthropic, and Google AI spend alerts all fire off before going to bed wondering what was going on.

Opus 5.5 on High motion reel with native #Android Kotlin and Jetpack Compsoe. Aka you don’t need to settle for web or xplat tech on mobile.

Android Studio finally gets embedded browser power πŸš€ This is a big unlock for all Android developers and plugin authors! Embedded web browser (JCEF) in Android Studio just got a lot more real πŸ‘‰ tool windows, auth flows, onboarding, browser-powered plugin UX. platform.jetbrains.com/t/experiment...

platform.jetbrains.comExperimental JCEF Web Browser API support for Android StudioWe’re excited to announce that the JCEF (Java Chromium Embedded Framework) web browser API is now experimentally available for Android Studio β€” a capability previously limited to other JetBrains IDEs....

I love AI coding simply for the fact I can ask it to get any old webpack based app to run on 8 year old dependencies in under 5 min πŸ€ͺ

Iterate on the plan with the agent by reviewing and adding comments in a dedicated tab. For Antigravity users this should feel very familiar. 😎

Lastly, there's Ask mode: this replaces the previous Ask tab. It's MUCH better than before as it's actually agentic and able to use similar tools to dive into your codebase and investigate issues, unlike before where it purely relied on LLM knowledge and added context.

Currently we aren’t allowed to use most if not any 3P AI coding tools at Google, not even Antigravity w/o constraints. So I decided to just build my own agent manager that I can vibe code in above board because it’s 2026 and I can, like many motivated builders out there.

YouTube clips has a weird way of getting to you to play old games again. Playing Fallen Order now since I never finished it. And Jedi Survivor is only $10 for a limited time on PSN!

An investment firm tied to the United Arab Emirates purchased nearly half of the Trump family’s cryptocurrency company last year, making the family business partners with the UAE even as President Trump negotiated foreign policy matters with the Middle Eastern nation.

New survey from Pew 🧡 Trump's approval is down to 37. He's 24 points underwater. Only 27% of Americans support most/all of Trump's policies. By two-to-one margins, Americans say the Trump administration has made their life worse, not better.

The official message of the U.S. government to ICE is if you kill an American citizen while trying to deport brown people, not only will we cover it up but we will try to jail their spouse instead. We all died during COVID and this is hell.

And now I have a Codex $20 sub. Lol

Chris Sinco@csinco.com

Decided to cancel my Cursor sub for now. With Antigravity and a Claude Code Pro sub, and paying for a Gemini API key (mainly for Android Studio), I think I'm covered. ;)

For those maxing out your Claude usage for the holidays, check out Air (air.dev) - an agent manager UI from @jetbrains.com, built on top of Claude Code, with some extra IDE goodies like code editing and navigation. It's still in preview, but another nice option to have for agentic coding!

Nano 🍌 assets started with a richer chart which it easily wireframe out. Notice the matrices are incorrect, and the agent simply just had training data that corrected it in my project πŸ™‚

#AndroidDev things I’ve found little success with agents: debugging recomposition issues, coordinating complex gestures and scrolling, and one-shotting great looking Material UI without a mockup πŸ˜
