I tell you, the match between #atproto and open academic publishing is made in heaven. If we have learned anything from the for-profit-publishing, AI slop, and Twitter/X polycrisis, the future of academic publishing is decentralized eprints on #atproto, an it may well begin right here.

@kissane.myatproto.social is a great inspiration for our work and we're very happy we can support her Cloud Atlas initiative to make the value of the Atmosphere more legible for the broader public! ✨

Products like @margin.at and @semble.so have the potential to change scientific publishing as we know it today. These are early-stage products but they're clearly ahead of the curve when it comes to new ways to organize and share knowledge.
