Coelary

just really wanted to make a karine and tav version of this image for some reason

@foxfaer.com @coelary.com Absolutely adored this book. I've always love anthro bug character designs and this world you've built is interesting and beautiful while remaining very human. I cannot wait for the next installment. Also, I may or may not make some fanart.

How many versions of you have existed so far? I've started playing with risograph, which is a super fun way to make prints. The colors are incredibly vivid, they're amazing in person! Use code RISOMADNESS for 20% off all risograph prints, including this one! coelary.bigcartel.com/product/riso...

Dreaming about Big Snow… #karine #tav

Hello. I need a Karine voice actor. Very low/zero pay right now, but for the right voice, many future paid opportunities will arise. NO VA EXPERIENCE NECESSARY: for this character, natural realism and a wide emotional range is needed (no “character voices”). Acting experience a plus. No terfs.

Signing and numbering copies of Coelary Blood & Beholden for orders today. I can’t believe I’ve sold over 400 copies!

The Coelary website is currently down (and will be for a while until I code a new one) BUT the url redirects to a little shop site, so you can continue to buy any of the 5 most popular Coelary books (including Mothboy Monthly)! coelary.bigcartel.com

Watercolor, rapidograph, acrylic paint pens - The cliffside town of Aersc is constantly rained upon, so the adobe-ash "mushroom" style structures are built to prevent pooling water. This town is important for researching electromagnetic anomalies, and adjoins the only access to the mountain range.

The best bugs

Happy Halloween from the bugs of Coelary!

In about 3 weeks - November 17th - the Coelary site and shop will be going down for an indeterminate amount of time while I look for a cheaper hosting solution. Unfortunately, SquareSpace is beyond my budget this year. If you want anything from the shop, get it now! coelary.com/shop

Colossal Cathedral Mud Daubers These giant daubers predate only on one type of cattle spider, so ranchers appreciate having their towers in their fields. The towers are constructed entirely from Dover chalk, and each tower serves a unique function (food storage, nursery, adult housing etc) #Coelary

🏳️‍🌈HAPPY PRIDE MONTH!!🏳️‍🌈 Coelary is queer art made by queer people! To make it easier to get some cool art while also helping me pay bills and feed my family, EVERYTHING in the Coelary shop is 50% off for all of June!! INCLUDING two new prints!! CODE: GAYBUGS50 www.coelary.com/shop/print-i...

Mom said she could have pizza OR have the party at the arcade. Karine chose pizza at the park. Karine had a lot of birthdays at the park. #karine #coelary

Hilltop ruins park Dig a few feet down and you'll find that the entire hill is really just a gargantuan pile of industrial wreckage, scooped up by enormous natural forces, sculpted into shape by water and earth, and then slowly grown over with organic matter. #coelary #karine #arsenia #tav

Fringe areas of Coelary

Hi Dr. Berry, this is Karine… sorry I missed our last appointment… just wanted to let you know I saw her again. Me. I saw me again. Maybe twelve years old, in our apartment foyer. She’s not saying anything this time. #karine #ragwing

The guilt is eating me from the inside #ragwing #karine

Glade is a vine hawk-moth who works on Coelary's telephones. He is 28 years old. His partner (a wax moth) is named Rulix Mesters. They ride the streetcar home every day together. Glade lives in a basement apartment near the factory district. This adoptable was a Mothboy Monthly backer reward! ✨

Regardless of how busy Vic's Auto Repair and Machine Shop gets, Karine always manages to give herself some down time.
