The black stripe on the pride flag symbolizes the loss the queer community has dealt with from the AIDS crisis. “Neverending” takes this idea that their legacies shouldn’t be forgotten and reflects this through extended musical phrases which persist through various forms.

Our tune for the brown in the pride flag represents the queer BIPOC experience. @alisongrace.music, who composed the foundation, says “I wrote it to both vent my frustration with the oppression I face as a black trans woman, but also express the love I hold for myself and who I am, despite it all.”

A BLUEshift is when an astronomical object appears to be bluer to the naked eye as it approaches the viewer in relativistic speeds. This tune reflects this nature by having a very distant, twinkling sound - with a melody that becomes clearer and more complete as you approach the end of the tune.

JUST LIFT ME UP INTO THE LIGHT ₍₍⚞(˶ˆᗜˆ˵)⚟⁾⁾ A BRIGHT ROSE-COLORED HYPER INDULGENCE ( ˶˘ ³˘)♡ A SUGARY SEND-UP TO THE OLD-NET TRADITION OF NIGHTCORE MUSIC (,,>﹏<,,) DON’T WANNA HAVE IT ANY OTHER WAY (˵◝ ⩊ ◜˵マ

A hectic, frenetic, and energetic fight theme that harmonically slips through your ears before you can even gain some footing. Think fast!!! The creatures are just around the corner . . . (from our pride album 'color coated'!)

“You don’t have to be afraid…” A recurring line in this soulful, groovy, and intimate tribute to the sentiment of living true to yourself. The vocals by @pigdeons.bsky.social guide you into the glamorous yet calm musical cityscape, all in service of reminding you that there’s always time.

‘indigo skies’ is a fun and playfully theatrical tune based on the (unfortunately common) feeling of wanting to pack your bags and leave behind a rough experience - searching far and wide for a place that feels like home. (from our pride album WAM #3: color coated!)

“a flower blooms for its own joy” is a soft lo-fi track with pretty and naturalistic instrumentation that paints a vivid image of a garden, with the floral aesthetic further being put forward by the lovely artwork by the artists.

Sunlit Solace is a tune that flows through its form with the grace of a butterfly. A relaxing saxophone line giving way to more kinetic synths, piano, and drums gives an organic cause-and-effect that's naturally endearing.

Warm, wobbly, and groovy! “marmalade mirage,” is also microtonal; instead of dividing an octave into 12 equally-spaced notes (like on a piano), these composers worked with 17! If you listen closely, you’ll also hear meows from Oscar the orange cat.

Aaand we’re off! We hope you’re REDdy! In celebration of Pride month, Cloud Crew is revisiting COLOR COATED, its third Weekend Album Multiplayer (“WAM”) release. “READY SET GO!” is the first of eleven tracks on COLOR COATED, each inspired by one color of the progressive pride flag.

we've made it through all the meowlbum promo clips we had lined up! thank you so much for all the support on the album <3 here's a little compilation of all the meowlbum posts, and we may possibly also have plans for pride month wam posts so stay tuned for that...........
