These are absolutely unnecessary. Your browser can be configured to transmit a "global privacy control signal" by default that tells websites you don't consent to be spied on while you look at their pages: support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/glo... 6/
Are they for real…again? 🤦 Even if it would make sense to ban e2ee, you would need to ban people from writing their own encrypted apps. How is that anywhere close to feasible? And guess who’s going to ignore that? Yes, the really bad people we are trying to catch who are already breaking our laws!
As the 5th trilogue finished without agreement, Council and the European People's Party (EPP), with Germany's SDP and CDU being the driving forces, are attempting to bypass Parliament and reactivate the already expired #ChatControl 1.0. No, believe it or not, means no! fightchatcontrol.eu
I need to try that new WASM ESM integration with #Rust. There is no way it is this easy. Though I stay hopefully optimistic because Vite has already positively surprised me in the past 😄

If you’ve been as tired as me that recent tech innovation only consists of two letters, check this out! Happily surprised they also support browsers 👀
We just released the first stable version of iroh, v1.0! Read about it: www.iroh.computer/blog/v1 We're super proud of where we landed with iroh's 1.0. Since version 0.35 it feels like we've entirely replaced the "engine underneath". Are you a fellow key-dialer? Come tell us how you use iroh!

The only reason I filled out the survey is because I want someone to know I need a selector for empty inputs and one for styling the current active link 😂 survey.devographics.com/survey/state...
Supply chain rug pull risk analysis: Out: VoidZero In: Cloudflare Half serious jokes aside, I’m happy for the maintainers to get paid
VoidZero is joining Cloudflare. Our mission stays the same: to make JavaScript developers more productive than ever before. Vite, Vitest, Rolldown, Oxc, and Vite+ remain MIT-licensed. Evan and the VoidZero team will continue leading them.

I love when someone manages to put into words what I’ve been thinking and feeling! I am a full-stack dev at work and I’ve been pushing against the idea that front-end development can be sped up by just using the right tool. We don’t ship the backend to customers, it’s the frontend that they perceive
The Accessibility Problem Isn't Design. It's Engineering. Chris Gibbons argues that designers can document all the accessible components they want; in most companies, full stack developers don’t know how to actually implement them.
