The idea that Trump is creating quotas for denaturalization is a gross abuse of power that should scare every single American. Republicans used to pretend they were for legal immigration, but now they are working to strip citizenship from Americans for no reason.

What training manual in what agency instructs ICE agents that it's permissible to chase down a protestor and point a loaded gun at the top of their head while screaming at them? We have to understand that ICE is being instructed by Trump to ignore law and convention and terrorize not police.
Jesus Christ.
If tear gas is too dangerous for a battlefield, there is no justification for using it against people in our cities. Sign the petition. sign.moveon.org/petitions/te...

this seems specifically designed to break mail-in voting (where deadlines are defined by postmark)
As of 12/24/25, USPS changed policy on when they postmark mail. Mail dropped off is no longer guaranteed a same-day postmark. Tax returns & other time-sensitive items are now stamped when they reach a regional processing center, which may be days later. Plan deadlines accordingly to avoid penalties.

The Indiana legislature lacks the votes to pass a congressional redistricting plan ahead of the 2026 midterms, marking a setback in President Trump’s unprecedented push for GOP-led states to change their maps. https://wapo.st/4ocmwVu

Everyone realize that the reason the government is "shut down" is that the Republicans failed to pass a budget by Sept 30th, as they are required to do by law, and the government just ran out of money?
By law the Republicans were required to have a budget for the new fiscal year in place on September 30th. Anyone seen the budget? Are they are here in DC working on one? Don't we think media, commentators should be asking Rs where their budget is? Do they intend to actually create one?
