Yesterday it was hot steel for work. Today it was hot tea 😎 Seriously it was. A tea plantation in Cornwall today. Tegothnan Can’t share most of my photos as it’s a private estate, same Family since 1300s and it’s a bit wow to be fair. So some tea plants and a harvester!

I don’t like to share hotel pics generally. (I’m normally cheap and cheerful) But love the ceiling in this one. Sucker for a gothic ceiling me Told it’s an ex convent

Social media is toxic, really is. But it has plus sides. There are great people in the world and to be frank it’s worth finding them. Lovely evening with a Twitter friend. Welsh boy done well so all power to him. Good company is worth more than anything else. Really is. Cheers!

Great to hear @DafyddTrystan extoll the virtues of the park run movement on five live. Lovely to have a welsh voice on and support one of the best grass roots things it benefit society this century. 👍👍

The timeless beauty of ancient glass! This Roman glass scent bottle is around 2,000 years old, yet its elegant design feels surprisingly modern! British Museum 📷 by me #Archaeology

While the welsh links to Yale are well known. Less well known is that the major force in founding brown is Pontypool boy Reverend Morgan Edwards. Penn has significant welsh links too based in and supported by those of the “welsh tract”. Decent haul for welsh migrants! HT - brilliant maps

Flint Castle, North Wales reconstruction. Classic design with Donjon on its own as last stand point if courtyard breached during siege. (Donjon should really be at the back rather than front of house which is a bit of a puzzle. Unless they were expecting naval assaults.

Love that people are also loving this restoration. Reminded me What was lost a stones throw away. Merchant exchange. Surely Cardiffs biggest Victorian loss ?

Great piece of restoration this. One of the gems of Cardiff bay back looking glorious. The new bits hidden away look great too. Well done Cardiff college! (And Cardiff council I hear)

DoorDash spent $1.4M trying to stop Zohran Mamdani from becoming mayor. This week's historic $131.5M enforcement action against DoorDash for underpaying NYC delivery workers shows why. Yet another reminder that the only thing that can beat organized money is organized people.

For those who have forgotten the past 40 years: Tax cuts for the rich ...don’t trickle down Boosting military spending ...doesn’t bring peace Slashing regulations ...doesn’t create jobs Folks, we’ve seen this all before.

Made it !!! 😎 I love Barry. But my god the last ninety mins wales coast path to Barry island is rubbish. ( and a lot of rubbish) Feet and legs gone. So pool and sauna to recover. Have had or leave the sauna as a restore faithful voter holds court. Sad to hear 😟

For all those who bang on about west wales rail connections. (Especially the two towns that have rail stations already!!) Getting hay back on the railways should be a priority. 😉 Here in 1962 ht @ColinSpenc4257 for the pic

Was at an event yesterday and a business man went on a big speech about why business isn’t loved or embraced in the Uk. I didn’t agree with him, but think the inability by many to see rampant inequality is a na issue we need to get to grips with.
