Thank you @gooeydeer.com for being such a great friend and neighbor. I'm going to miss you, as will everyone else you brought together and befriended in the bay. I'll always be happy to water your plants while you are away. 🥲

It's funny that bluesky is complying with the unenforcable texas age gate law that not even X complies with. Part of me wonders if bluesky thinks Texas will retaliate against them but ignore X in order to "own the libs"

I’m so happy that Bluesky fixed the bug that prevented the app from being usable for a whole month (the 10-picture carousel is cool too I guess)

Update: It appears these two apps are racing each other to the bottom

Black Forest Labs (like Stability AI) likely took a bunch of work off the internet in order to train their AI. A bill in California would force transparency in their dataset. Want to help it pass? Please sign this petition in support, it'll take you 2 minutes: tinyurl.com/4uxbp963 1/

1/ This company’s models were trained on web scraped datasets (like LAION) and their founders are ex-Stability AI employees who engage in the same thieving practices that led artists like myself to sue Stability. GenAi companies NEED big names to sanitize their exploitation and crippling PR.

⚠️ ATTENTION ⚠️ The .furry domain is being considered for a new wave of gTLD's. Pawprint Prototyping is looking to raise $90k for the application fee. If successful, we'll have a domain owned and operated wholely by the community. Consider sharing/supporting if you have a second: www.dotfurry.org
