Araujo is something else, competent and committed. Seems to be coming together slowly at Anfield which is great. More goals from everyone though, please! #lfc

Was totally expecting lots of people to be disappointed with the iPhone Duo today. But all Iโ€™ve seen makes me think that Apple have nailed it. Devs too, plenty of fun apps out there. I shouldnโ€™t be surprised but I am. Sadly will be a while until I even get to try one out butโ€ฆ

I find it so strange that RSS โ†’ Instagram / Reddit / Pinterest etc... is not native to each platform. Rate limit them by all means, but this should just be easy. I already have a script for Bluesky which was relatively simple but the others I've mentioned actually feel hostile.

I want to publish and promote on your platform, why are you stopping me?! I was a big IFTTT user back in the day. Not that I don't want to support them but again it all just feels so hostile to building on the web that I should even have to consider such a service.

Not sure how Iโ€™ve become a runner but a 5k three times a week is doing wonders for my fitness and health. Wish Iโ€™d picked it up years ago.

Completed a 5k run today, 8 days since my last due to our summer holiday. Officially my personal best, which was completely unexpected!

Think I've found my rhythm at around 32-33 minutes for a 5k. 40 minutes felt unachievable at the start of the year and yet here I am. Ultimate goal? Not sure, but sub-30 could be within reach before the year is out! ๐Ÿคž

Planning to run a 5k run next month but holding out until Iโ€™ve seen what the weather will be like. Could have got a PB today had it not been for traffic lights and white van drivers blocking pavements. Just 6 seconds in it ๐Ÿ˜ฌ

Love that my app update for Waylist was rejected because it uses ChatGPT and marked as available on China except it doesnโ€™t have any AI features at all just yet ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ Even checked the codebase to see if I made any reference to it but I definitely havenโ€™t. Appealed so letโ€™s see ๐Ÿคž

Wonder if the teams working on the Apple Watch Workout and Music apps have ever spoken. If you start a workout when music is already playing, there's no guarantee the Workout will become the primary app experience. If it does, workout announcements seem to trigger Music to come forward. Infuriating.

Just 4 seconds away from matching my personal best today. Trying out the pacer runs on the Apple Watch but always ahead of the pace so hard to tell if it helps or not. Will pick one to match my current PB next and see how well I do.

Who knew properly organising items in @feedly.com would make it much easier to get through?! The All number has been in the thousands before but it's all much more manageable now with the added benefit of giving me specific reasons to focus when I get the time to browse through my feeds.

I waited days to be enrolled into being able to use Siri AI. I've only used as the Spotlight replacement that it is so far on my Mac. I need some inspiration on how to make the most of it.

Took < 10 minutes of poking around and you now get NavigationSplitView on the inside screen of the iPhone Duo in Waylist! Will have a release ready for day 1, but now the race to see if we can deliver even more value in that build ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™‚๏ธ

Iโ€™m building a new habit tracking app. Something I wanted to take the repetitive nature out of keeping track. If youโ€™re interested in testing, get in touch! #SwiftUI #BuildInPublic

App icons before and after updating for iOS 27. Love the crispness and definition. Resisting the urge to preview the icon app number 4 which is in the worksโ€ฆ coming soon!

Decided to take my first app out of the App Store. Served a purpose and taught me a lot but it wasnโ€™t one that fit with everything else Iโ€™m doing in that front. Iโ€™ll shelve it and maybe come back to it at some point. RIP Kop Quiz ๐Ÿซก

Wondered why the app Iโ€™m testing was failing to reflect today as a separate day. Took me the whole day to realise it did show today but was highlighted by events late last night. Simplified some calculations yesterday to prove performance and accuracy. But now separately events are not lining up!

Wanted to make a positive change in my life. What better way to track it than to use an app. Build one?! Ok! Been working on something slowly for a week and I want to jump of a bridge thanks to date calculations! Butโ€ฆ getting there.

Most importantly Iโ€™ve largely made the change anyway but having a habit tracker thatโ€™s non-judgemental is useful and might help others? What does it do? 1. Track lapses rather than checking in constantly 2. Track often and keep yourself committed to โ€œ2 times a weekโ€ type goals 3. Track daily

So, launch screens are back for apps on iOS and iPadOS? When I started my App Store submission journey it became apparent that they'd been dropped and Apple's own apps don't seem to use them. Don't see any evidence that's changed in the Device Hub simulators! developer.apple.com/documentatio...

Sagrada Famรญlia. There are so many ways to view this magnificent building but itโ€™s really hard to capture its reflection from Plaรงa de Gaudi. At least when the crowds are all clamouring for a space. #photography #barcelona

Working on a new SwiftUI app. Becoming a habit but Iโ€™m actually shipping. This one will be my first freemium app with a subscription. Scratching my own itch first and then to flesh it out to something more. Taking lots of inspiration from Appleโ€™s own apps but noticing so much that isnโ€™t consistent!

This irks me every single time I go into the Apple Podcasts app. Never accurately reflects how long is left and I find myself now keeping a totally unnecessary mental list of roughly how far I am into the last podcast I listened to. I donโ€™t understand how it is just so consistently wrong.

My kids have wanted to join me on a run so for the first time I ran the long way to the park and did the last km with them. Not sure Iโ€™d have kept up with them even if it was my first rather than my last but Iโ€™m enjoying this habit so much. 30-40 minutes where I switch off.

Park Run is on my radar. Want to get down to 35m 5k, but that realistically means reducing or removing the warm up and cool down from my workout. Gives me a goal to reach before my next birthday.
