I’ve literally been saying this since it happened.

This is a stupid statement to make, and rightfully angered a lot of people internationally. If you are American, the reality is you are responsible. I am responsible too. We need to actually do more than our massive protests. They’re good for visibility but they’re not going to stop these demons.

Still playing and loving Crimson Desert. And the story got a lot more interesting and a bit more cohesive finally. I also love the cool gear you pick up as you progress further in the game. Overall it’s just a really enjoyable game, at least to me. I like how unpredictable it is honestly.

Unpopular (but true facts) opinion: Crimson Desert is 500% less tedious than GTA V & RDR 2 combined. This is around 20+ hours in now. I said it.

I feel like Crimson Desert is one of those games that if it had been released way back when it was first announced, it would have done gang busters. Especially if it was released during the pandemic in 2020. Instead it was released in a very saturated open world rpg/action game market.

Also it’s just a gorgeous game. Virtual hiking is wonderful in it. The world does feel very alive.

Crimson Desert is 100% my jam. It’s a little janky and weird and the control scheme is a little complicated for its own good, and the story manages to be both completely nonexistent and nonsensical as hell. But you know what? I love inhabiting this world. I love the interactivity of it.

Watched One Battle After Another on the plane to Florida (family thing, wouldn’t normally go there at all). It was okay. As I told my husband, the depiction of insane murderous racist creepy white people was spot on. Everyone else was painted in broad stereotypes and caricatures though.
