A reminder that the “trans lobby” is just trans people going about their lives, and the “fight” being referred to is JK Rowling using her money, power and influence to endorse policy that is killing trans people. I’m amazed she could move to type a new essay with the layers of blood on her hands.

There’s an extremely good chance this is going to be one of my favourite books of the year, along with John of John.

Have done my 3-days of norovirus and can confirm it is definitley not fun. I was severely delirious, I fainted on the loo and woke up collapsed into a corner with my neck at a horrible angle with a bleeding ear, and my poor dog had to hide from all the noise I make vomiting. Do not recommend.

"This hatred, it’s like a cancer. It spreads because people will always say, ‘Oh, it’s just the illegals.’ It’s not. “From what I experienced, it was anyone who was remotely different, different creed, different colour, different sexuality.” www.theargus.co.uk/news/2665180...

theargus.co.ukActor describes 'abysmal racism and homophobia' he faced in ChichesterAn assault on a cast member of a play in Chichester was "just the tip of the iceberg" of the "racism, xenophobia and homophobia" the cast faced in the town, an actor has claimed.

Sebastian Croft is definitley eligible to be on the list of the most beautiful men I have ever seen 🥺

Fridays when you follow a lot of artists on Apple Music. (Also hate the white app icon in the latest beta)

If you're discovering Ruaridh Mollica in VisionQuest today, I urge you to watch him in Sebastian (on BFI Player etc), where he plays a journalist turned sex worker, and the the short film Too Rough, where he has to hide a hookup from his family (online at provokr.com/video/award-... )

I need the next Mayor of London to ban coffee shops slamming down coffees and expecting you to put the lid on yourself. You never pick the right size first. and you always end up spilling the drink on your hand.

The new Carrie series on Amazon is fantastic. Perfectly done. And a perfect soundtrack, I’ve favourited practically every track.

There’s a reason I prefer TV to movies. It’s taken me all week to get through Spider-Man: Brand New Day. But an 8-ep 50-minute ep series I’d have been able to binge it in a day easily.

I listen to a British TV podcast which often has a quick discussion about the latest Traitors developments. An American listener had the cheek to email them asking to avoid spoilers?! We have to tiptoe round the internet the day after big shows air over there every single week.

This is why there was no revenue to support written journalism on the website and they’ve had to focus on social-first video based reporting. When anonymous allegations are reported without evidence, maybe take a beat before accepting them as fact.

Someone asked about a sitcom storyline on Reddit, and someone else pasted an AI hallucinated episode recap. You can guess what happened next.

Google ingested the thread and now other commenters are saying that’s definitely the episode as Google says so. It literally links only to that thread as a source 🤦‍♂️

It’s a real struggle as a T1 diabetic trying to visit the gym a lot and work out and lose weight when I’m constantly having to eat mountains of glucose tablets for the rest of the day

Today might be the last day of the year I wear shorts 😢

Today is the 117th consecutive day somewhere in the UK has recorded a temperature of 20°C or higher. The 11th of June was the last time we didn't reach this threshold. Fresher air comes in on Wednesday allowing temperatures to fall, and likely to stay just below 20°C.

I haven't played World of Warcraft properly in almost 20 years, but i did pay for access to the WoW Forever beta at the weekend and am obsessed 🐲

I don’t understand why Richard E Grant didn’t say something along the lines of “I was trying to be funny, but I’d forgotten I was in a room full of comedians” or something. #CelebrityTraitors

Sebastian Croft cleverly timed his new single released for today but weirdly hasn’t posted on his stories about The Traitors at all.

Dark Matter on Apple TV is just so, so good every single week. I think it’s going to be up there with The Expanse for my all-time favourite sci-fi shows.

An empty neighbouring flat has a smoke detector with a low battery so it is CHIRP CHIRP CHIRPing every 40 seconds and it is DRIVING ME MAD.

I get a high skin fade every 3 weeks to chop out all the grey on my temples but the unimaginable has happened… there’s grey visible across the top now 😭
