In one day, two politicians - Bolsonaro in Brazil and Vucic in Serbia - with ties to Trump have lost surprise elections thanks to high turnout. The rise of the international far-right is not inevitable.

If we could drop the word ‘fatigue’ from being the leading definition of #ME it would make a huge difference to the whole perception of this illness. People don’t die or take their own lives because they are fatigued. The name CFS was a political decision, a very dark decision.

You know, each day it becomes more obvious that Trump and his asshole colleagues are tools and allies of Putin. This used to be called Treason and people used to be jailed or executed for it. Less than two weeks to election day. Have you voted? Have you made contingency plans?

Thank you Beth Dobbin for giving your energy to sharing your story of Olympics to #ME - a powerful reminder ahead of next week’s budget that we are all poorer through losing the contributions of so many #pwME. Time for #DHSC to seriously step up investment in research to bring an end to this tragedy

There are no commissioned services or specialists within the NHS. This means people diagnosed with #ME are forced to self-fund appointments with private ME specialist doctors, of which there are only a handful of in the country, all with incredibly long waiting times.

This is the disease for which I research and advocate: #MECFS. Even mild presentation is life-changing, and this is what severe looks like. People are surprised so many of us were athletes. They want to believe this can only happen to people who were already unwell. www.bbc.com/sport/athlet...

1) 🧬 We did a new genetic analysis using DecodeME. We leveraged a database on chromatin openness in the human brain. More openness means DNA is accessible and potentially active in various cell types. The graph below shows the results for ME/CFS and various other diseases.

A study of The Switch, New Zealand's version of the Lightning Process, has generated some meaningless results--yet the paper suggests the findings are so robust that it "could be argued" that no RCT is needed to recommend the intervention. Hm. virology.ws/2026/09/09/t...

Every time something like this comes out the public are shocked that governments covered it up. Hillsborough, Post Office, Infected Blood…. Often advocates are labeled as crazy to undermine their credibility. Wonder if #postvaccine will ever get the recognition and research it deserves.

This post is unavailable.

Vaccines are a miracle of science. But those harmed are ignored and gaslit by essentially everyone. Even within ME research there is a strong tendency to ignore any cohort without viral onset.
