If I had a nickel for every time I beat the best/former best player in Japan during pools, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice. Anyways, I beat Kurabba in Remix Singles of Inkafest 3 today!

In 30 minutes from now I'll be premiering the Grand Finals set from last night, don't miss it! The most intense LTK set to date. Featuring commentary by Cagt and AdzyIn3D, I'll have a in-game audio only version available too. youtu.be/e0HsVL3n3Ts

Sadly, I have bowed out in Quarters🪦 Extremely fun tournament overall, and very satisfied to know I'm able to keep up against the best players out there. Makes all these years of playing solo & at conventions worth it in the end. Hope to meet all these gents in-person one day!

Made Top 8 in the Goldeneye Netplay event! Not used to my matches being spread out over multiple weekends, but it's working out so far. Will remember to tweet out when my next match is 😅

The Bracket image leaves a lot of the nuance (from the article) about player intent out of the conversation. I, with input from the available members of the CFP, reworked the image to include it. Ask yourself, "What is the intent of this deck? What kind of experience am I looking for?"

Played my group stage match just now... ...I think I did pretty well 😅 Gotta keep the momentum in the bracket phase now! VOD for the curious: www.youtube.com/watch?v=nHy3...

Posting here as well for all my Bluesky homies: I'm competing in a GoldenEye event later this week! Been a hot minute since I've done so, pretty excited to get back into it. If you're wondering how a tournament for this game even works, you can look it up right over here: youtu.be/OsueOFXoQ8s?...

Was walking home earlier and took a quick try at shooting RAW on my phone + editing it afterwards, don't think I did too bad but definitely wish I had my DSLR with me 😭

Haven't been at a Smash Major™ since Wavelength, so figured I'd give a small life update: Been spending the last few months completely changing a lot of aspects of my life/health, which in turn have made me generally a lot more distant. I'm still around, just much more detached from recent events.

There's lots of you I miss and want to catch up with, so I apologize if it's been forever since we've seen each other/chatted. If you'll be at Genesis, let me know so we can link up. Otherwise, my DMs are always open of course for all the homies on here. Will see what this year has in store for me.

Saw a post on LinkedIn that triggered me and got me thinking: Job postings really need to specify whether or not they are open to relocating applicants if they get the job. Really sucks to not be considered just because you don't live there despite checking off every other box they are asking for 🙃

Alright, I've been exposed to it enough that I'm now curious: Anyone have a link to a guide or video for learning Pokemon TCG? And for those who play both Magic and Pokemon, any tips/tricks/advice you can give me to make it easier to learn it? Looking forward to not paying $500 for a good deck lol

You know what show I wish would make a comeback? Code Monkeys. Was one of my favorites back in the day but it only had 2 seasons and none of my friends watched it so I had no one to talk about it with 😭 Although I think its all on Peacock now so I might rewatch it at some point in the near future.

Really want to start 2025 on the right foot. This past year has been a shitshow and a half for me, and the last few months have finally felt like I've gotten closer to getting my shit together. Hoping next year carries that momentum and I can make great things happen so I can feel some stability 🙏

Building a ton of EDH decks on Cockatrice: 👍👍👍 Realizing you don't have the money for 5 new decks: 👎👎👎
