Got a really exciting email this week: my SF story “Bird-Girl Builds a Machine” is going to be published in Clarkesworld Magazine!! I’ve collected a lot of form rejections from Clarkesworld over the years so this was a wonderful surprise 🥹

So I’ve been playing a lot of Final Fantasy 16, and I think my biggest critique of it, is that it is clearly is a character action game, but designed with the sensibilities of an MMO. The enemies are too damage spongy and the combat too basic and sluggish. It gets kinda dull
