1/5 🧵 “If you take code reviews away completely and don't replace them with something else, you'll lose the good value of code review.” One of the secret gems from Bartosz Ocytko (Executive Principal Engineer at Zalando) on the latest @byndcode.bsky.social podcast.

2/5 We often reduce code reviews to comments on style, naming, or minor fixes. But that's the least interesting part. The best reviews expose hidden constraints, challenge assumptions, reveal edge cases, and make architectural thinking visible across a team.

3/5 Bartosz brings a rare enterprise perspective. At Zalando, he helps shape the platforms and AI infrastructure behind thousands of engineers—from internal LLM platforms and GPU orchestration to the foundations for agentic software development.

Bartosz shares a rare behind-the-scenes perspective from Zalando's engineering organization. developer platforms, MCP infrastructure, model serving, and the practices that make AI usable in production.

What does it take to scale agentic coding across a large engineering organization? I sat down with Bartosz Ocytko, Executive Principal Engineer at Zalando, for a deep dive into software & AI engineering at scale.

Heute ist wieder Podcast post production Tag! Interview schneiden, Auswahl der Szenen für die Social Clips! Und die Auswahl des Titels! Ehrlich gesagt immer das schwierigste

🎧🎙️ Recording Time! 🔥 Fashion meets deep tech at one of Europe’s largest fashion platforms! A conversation about scaling engineering in the age of AI ... from infrastructure and quality to governance in a rapidly changing landscape. Stay tuned 🚀

Stay tuned🚀
