Can you hear me in the back?! New #cars are overpriced crap. Maybe if #automakers like #volkswagen and #BMW weren’t trying to actively offload slop cars loaded with too much tech on their customers, they wouldn’t be laying off workers. apple.news/ApvmpsUXoQvG...

Going home I passed 6 cars in a row with people driving at inconsistent speed and swerving. Every single one I passed was on their #phone... WTF is wrong with you people?? You're like crack addicts. There is NOTHING too important not to pull over. Healthy people are sick of it! #PutItDown #driving!

Sad to announce that I opened the Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing configurator for research purposes, and I’m remembering why the Blackwing configurator is off limits in my house. (It’s the same reason Starburst are off limits in my house: the temptation is overwhelming and unhealthy)

You know, you could also just incentivize employers to offer #wfh. The entire #RTO office-industrial complex exists as a socialist system to support commercial #realestate developers and investors. Just stupid.

With the 2028 Olympics on the horizon, Los Angeles Metro is offering a cash incentive to convince residents that they can get around without a car.

Still sayin’ #auto tech peaked around 2012, before screens were generally available. And there is ZERO chance I’ll buy a car without physical gauges. Ever. Five years from now, those screens will look like they were made by Atari.

One of the many reasons my local Toyota dealership keeps emailing and texting me, trying to get me to sell back by "high demand" 2016 Tacoma. It has bluetooth and a screen for GPS, but still has aux and CD capabilities and the best part: NO ADS.

On todays episode of random old cars spotted while wandering around TO. Oh boy this is a real treat! A late 60s Beaumont! This orange beauty is a rusted relic of GM's attempt at maple muscle. It was built off Chevy Cheville but with Canada only badging/styling #VintageCar #classiccar #carspotting

This is the way, folks… start small, fix your own car(s). It’s really not rocket surgery. You quickly start to learn how all the systems function and how all cars function similarly.

I changed out my car's cabin air filter for the first time since the fires last year, and yeesh, should've done it sooner. I recommend you do the same. It took me 5 minutes, and I saved myself $80 for the mechanic to buy one and change it out for me.

The thing abt a used Porsche that is underestimated is that Porsche supports ALL their older cars. You can call a Porsche dealership and get parts for a 50 year old Porsche delivered to you, usually within a couple days. Ford won’t do that for my 16 year old station wagon. Is it cheap? Well… no.

Zack is looking to replace his automatic, four cylinder, '93 Mustang convertible with something a bit more modern and a bit more comfortable for $13,000.

I’ve used 5w40 for years & change at 3k. Light oils & extended changes are abt helping manufacturers meet govt standards, not engine reliability. 5w40 is the recommended oil for Euro cars… even Euros using US or Japanese engines. apple.news/A976MEENgST6...

The 2025 Porsche 911 Carrera S is the latest 911 variant to join the updated 992.2-generation lineup. New is a standard active sport exhaust, which was previously optional, and turbos and improved cooling which help push the S's 3.0-liter flat-six to 473 horsepower, a gain of 30 versus 2024.

See? This is why I invest in sports cars… not only can I not see (or worry about) what a sports car is worth every day, I also don’t care if someone comes out with a “better” model next year. Oh, and I get to drive my really awesome investment around in the meantime. apple.news/AvjLzDoMmQj2...
