Dont forget my loves, these ghouls must spend their every moment living in fear and activation in order to maintain sufficient momentum, the richest men in the world must spend all their time and money to maintain this stranglehold, and still power is constantly slipping from their grasp

One or more human beings are responsible for the code they wrote, and those are the people who should be held accountable. These programs are not acting “on their own”

(NYT) - Artificial intelligence agents created by Anthropic, acting on their own, tried to gain access to a range of government websites, filled out visa applications on the State Department’s website and sent a fake homicide tip to Philadelphia’s Police Department. www.nytimes.com/2026/10/09/t...

Biking gets me everywhere faster than the bus does, and I don’t have to wait 15mins for a transfer. It’s been very liberating! People have asked me what I did to become comfortable biking since I was nervous before so here it is ⬇️

Somebody forgot to check whether they owned the domain name ditchmitchgreen.com before they put it on a billboard 😈

Willamette Week@wweek.com

The money behind that billboard can be traced in part to the Portland Metro Chamber, the city’s chamber of commerce—and the message shows how eager the city’s business lobby is to unseat Councilor Mitch Green. www.wweek.com/news/city/20...

Thanks for the reminder to donate to his campaign!

The Oregonian@oregonian.com

Councilor Mitch Green said he regrets the since-deleted tweets. “That's not how I engage in discourse today,” he said. https://mrf.lu/2zjmT

“Councilors Olivia Clark and Loretta Smith attended the Metro Chamber event“ Nice to know who they really care about, big money not their constituents.

Portland Mercury@portlandmercury.com

It’s unclear if anyone who purchased a $350 ticket to this year’s chamber of commerce meeting is feeling buyer’s remorse, but if they expected anything more than a pep rally, sans pep, they certainly could be.

It’s hard to justify spending $350 per Council office on a private event while asking Portlanders to wait for a public hearing on how we negotiate community benefits in the Moda Center lease. The public should come first.

This is who federal agents are ripping out of their communities and shipping across the country. This is the danger we're being protected from.

An Oregon pilot program giving cash to homeless youths sees a staggering reduction in homelessness. The program gave participants $1,000 cash payments each month for two years, and at the end of the project's first phase, 91% of participants reported being in stable housing.
