We keep telling the government - we don't want automated robo-debt, or data centres everywhere, or aged-care assessment by algorithm, or non-professional NDIS decisions. Employ real people. Pay real wages. Fix hospitals & schools. Tax the squillionaires & giant companies. Can't be any clearer.

Penny Allman-Payne@pennyallmanpayne.com

Older people have been saying this for months. Labor's automation of aged care assessments has been a disaster, under-assessing need and priority, denying care and driving up waitlists. It's past time to bin the whole thing and put humans back in charge of decision-making.

The French get it. They aren’t blaming the wrong people for their problems. They can see it clearly - it’s the government and the billionaires who control them, and that is what we need to be focussing on.

Did Hell Freeze Over? Mark Kenny on #Insiders correctly points out it's not just Social Media that's to blame for Hate Speech, it's also the 'traditional' media. Murdoch (not named 🙁) has a long tradition of angertainment. #auspol #journalism #HateSpeech #HelenHaines

Why is it nobody will mention the fact that Australians are living with the abomination of a government and almost an entire Parliament which supports the kidnapping, rape, torture, starvation and murder of tens of thousands of innocent people? Trust? Trust is dead.

thepoint.com.auCost-of-living pressures, declining trust driving public angerEarlier this week, researcher Alex Fein talked with Richard Denniss about why cost-of-living pressures, strained public services and declining trust are fuelling Australians’ anger.

Oh, honey . . . your own mother shipped you off to a reform school (with cute little military costumes) after you were caught throwing rocks into a baby carriage and she realized you were too twisted to deal with.

We don't base our laws on Egyptian, Greek, Roman or Norse mythology. When will we stop defending Israel's atrocities based on Jewish mythology or writing laws re women's healthcare rights based on Christian mythology? #religion #politics #USA

Australia is a leading global ‘petrostate’ We aren’t a renewable energy superpower & nor is the government legislating the sorts of policies which would ‘make us one’. The PM is lying when he uses this term. We should be boycotted condemned and shamed #auspol johnmenadue.com/post/2026/10...

johnmenadue.comHow fossil fuel interests keep Australia locked into coal and gasLobbying, political donations, revolving doors and appeals to jobs and national prosperity have helped keep coal and gas embedded in Australia’s political system and public imagination.

Australia should ban it and if you breach the ban, deported straight to the USA & Guantanamo Bay

Today’s Tingle. Too many western countries are silent on the far right government in Israel that is openly speaking about a ‘Greater Israel’ that involves invading and taking over several other countries, or parts of them. Like Germany in 1939 www.abc.net.au/news/2026-10...
