Sickened by Labor's support of genocide, the knackering of NACC, jailing of whistleblowers, while Consultants who sold Tax Dept secrets & Robodebt pollies walk free. Insatiable greed, lust for power, moral decay, genocide, destroying our world.

Comment under article: Home Affairs won't rule out Palantir accessing our biometric data, but says the goal is to store it "securely". Apparently the lock matters more than who gets the key. Such touching devotion to privacy: the government fiercely protect its negotiations about surrendering ours.

Opposition to data centres is surging while investor scepticism is mounting. It’s a rare combination, one reflecting the failure of the data centre industry to demonstrate benefit. Indeed, for many Australians, AI is a classic “economic reform” that offers dislocation while corporations profit.

crikey.com.auRead the f***ing room, data centre companies: you offer nothing but dislocationFor many voters, AI and the data centres it requires look like the ultimate neoliberal reform: disruption and higher costs while the benefits flow to the elite.

Almost 150,000 Australians are being hit with Centrelink repayment debts that had been paused for years and calculated using the unlawful "income apportionment" method. It was a similar method to that used in Robodebt, and tallied up $4.4 billion in debts over two decades.

On Albo's post about the Kmart wishing tree - he's getting flattened. We pay our taxes to cover the needs of all Australians. But it's now going to the American war machine, Israeli weapons manufacturers and fossil fuel multinationals.
