Table secured! @jeffgeerling.com's NTP showcase inspired me, I think I'll do vintage Wi-Fi (BlueSCSI + PC cards) clients, connecting to an AirPort, going across 56k to get out to the internet. With my vintage gear in storage on another continent, I'm piecing together something with what I have. 👍

I somehow missed the Finnish Retro Con 2026 announcement! Stoked that they're back. It was hugely successful last year; the building was jam-packed. I'm hoping for a bigger venue, this time. I just fired off an email, asking if they need any more showcase tables... we'll see. 🤔 retrocon.fi

Got the PicoIDE and BlueSCSI installed into the SGI VW 320 to demo at VCF Midwest in a couple weeks! I love the auto opening door on this thing.

VCF Midwest is a bit over 2 weeks away so I’m getting PicoIDE demo rigs set up for my table. One will be an SGI Visual Workstation 320 with both a BlueSCSI Ultra Wide and a PicoIDE in way-too-cool black front panel enclosures. These are 3d printed because I’ve only gotten molded samples in beige

I added a little modern technology to the old Macintosh 128K this weekend, for convenience, so the younger folks at Euclyd can actually bear to try and use this little thing ;-).

I want to reiterate how much I love #bluescsi #initiator mode for imaging old rusty HDs as soon as you get them cos they’re probably going to die when you boot them the 2nd or 3rd time but now you never have to know cos you have an image of the drive that's been in someone's closet for 35 years.

BlueSCSI is more than a drive emulator. It's an ecosystem. More supported systems than other solutions, great docs, online diag & config tools, vintage OS integration, WiFi, front panel & CD audio support: plus much more than fits in one doot. That's a lot of bang for less than 50 bucks. #bluescsi

On Saturday's noon EDT stream, we're going to see if we can get any acceleration out of a Macintosh Display Card 8•24 GC that is missing cache chips (and has other issues). I'll also be showing off a new trick that BlueSCSI can do- functioning as a video card! youtube.com/live/r5RdXcx...

Turns out I just needed to install 7.1.2 and everything works fine. Sigh. So I’ll cancel this stream. But I will have a fun BlueSCSI trick to show off during Saturday’s normal stream!

Gonna have to reschedule this till tomorrow. I hurt my back pretty badly this morning and I don't think I can speak coherently.

Kinda went all out for my first Patreon post with a new device type for @bluescsi.com - something I don't think anyone thought a BlueSCSI could do, but does now! www.patreon.com/nulleric/pos...
