70 percent of the internet was vulnerable yesterday to very bad security flaws inside a coding language. Turns out, *one volunteer* is mostly responsible for maintaining that code & helping push updates. Yesterday Ondřej Surý saved the internet. So I called him up www.theatlantic.com/technology/2...

Huh... The Avalanches brought Mike Patton to their studio just for him to yell "What are you waiting for? Nintendo to make one?".

The only thing I'm curious about the new Rayman Legends remake is if the luchadores still yell conchetumare.

This is Top Gear 2, running on the SA-1 chip at 60 FPS!! The original game only runs at about 12-15 FPS! It stays on the same speed as original, but it's way more smoother, detailed and as a racing game you now feel a better control of car!

this is not just a meme btw. solar can't be stopped even when governments are blatantly against it this is the real tech of the future. it's here, it's getting adopted whether idiots want it or not, even if more slowly it just makes sense on an economic level www.yahoo.com/news/us/arti...

Gradius III SA-1 is one my most proud ROM hacks. Zero slowdown. Gameplay fluid as a rocket. You can either play it unlocked (60 FPS and harder) or play the Origin version (60 FPS with speed controls for fair difficulty). It's available for download and works on real hardware.

Would you believe that in the year of our lord 2026 there are tons of people who don't know what an adblocker is? Not against them, they don't know they exist.

I told you guys to keep trying to make the Fediverse happen, but you're allergic to minor inconveniences.

Back in the day (wow, I'm getting old) people's opinion on the Win XP Control Panel was that they dumbed it down too much from previous versions. Everyone switched it back to Classic Mode, which is on display in this pic.

I don't see it and I'm a professional programmer. Everyone just like, decided programming isn't a creative endeavor for some reason and it's very depressing.

These deluded fools honestly believe they can survive without the human civilizations and natural systems whose value they spent their lives robbing. They genuinely believe they are the source of value rather than a spiritual abscess.

This is where the 1% will go to restart civilization after a nuclear attack. But it for me thinking: what if the uber wealthy built these bunkers for more people — and not for nuclear attacks but for the climate crisis that will get us all — instead of trying to leave the planet?
