Are patriots
In Salford, over 45 homes have been targets of racist vandalism. Former deputy leader of the far right Britain First, Ashlea Simon, has ran a campaign of identifying and filming supposed HMOs on social media. Simon now runs her own group, All for England. hopenothate.org.uk/2026/10/22/a...
Another brilliant takedown of the right wing media from @monkemma.bsky.social
🧵 As front-page headlines go, this has to be one of the most misleading I've seen in a long time It's an out-and-out lie But notice the trick they use to get away with it...👀 *They're* not lying - they're just quoting someone else who is👍🏻 In this case, the leader of the opposition🙄 1/33

Not that many years since a popular position in right-wing British politics was calling for the police to use significant force to remove protesters blocking roads Of course, that was when environmentalists were doing it

@theguardian.com Can you please stop using ‘maxxing’ in your articles? It’s incredibly irritating and not even a word.
Water companies’ greed continues unabated. ‘Overall reported pay packets rose by 1.5% to £25.3m for chief executives and chief financial officers in the year, thanks to salary rises and the use of pay loopholes, according to analysis of the 14 companies that serve most of England and Wales.’

The BBC and other broadcasters have swallowed the right's small boat invasion narrative hook, line and sinker. They have no interest in reporting a fall in crossings - especially as the weather cannot be blamed. Normal service will be resumed if numbers start rising again.
No arrivals by small boats for the last 10 days now. As of yesterday, 12,469 people had arrived so far this year across the Channel, down over 11,000 (47%) on the same time last year. More than 10% down on 2023 as well, which was when crossings were, by comparison to other years, lower.

So it turns out Nigel Farage's widely-reported claims that 'Boriswave' migrants will cost every household £20,000 are based on dodgy figures and inflated assumptions. Reform have simply invented their own numbers…” say experts. bylinetimes.com/2026/04/16/e...

This week, Brexit finally killed our family business. We cleared out our warehouse, handed back the keys, paid the final bills and said goodbye to our last employee. What was once a thriving firm died a slow, sad death, all thanks to Farage, Johnson and the gullible idiots they conned. 1/18
Starmer announces that the UK is pursuing closer EU relations: “Brexit did deep damage to our economy. And the opportunities to strengthen our security and cut the cost of living are simply too big to ignore. We want to be more ambitious. Closer economic cooperation. Closer security cooperation.”
Another fantastic debunk of the hate-mongering Daily Mail and GB News from @monkemma.bsky.social
🧵 These stories really are coming thick and fast at the moment🙄 Guess what? The Canadian school is NOT 'banning food at lunchtime' during Ramadan🤦♀️ Obviously... And if you BELIEVED it to be true, then you need to ask why you would choose to believe such an obviously ludicrous headline? 1/20
