Asked Claude to continuously quiz me on a class - it unexpectedly built a little spaced repetition engine that fires questions every 2 hours

Before coding agents, I probably wouldn’t have taken screenshots of a component in all 8 of its states before and after a PR to verify nothing accidentally changed. Now, I can teach the agent to take iOS Simulator screenshots and do it for me!

regretfully, building a custom CMS for my blog was not necessary. I checked back in on keystatic.com and they've fixed some of my biggest gripes — it feels quite nice now

over the weekend, I built a small cms for the blog on my website. everything gets committed back to git as markdown files

recently, it feels like LLMs either one-shot the code I want (saving me 5x the time!) or *almost* one-shot what I want, leading me to burn 5x the time trying to get it right before giving up and writing it myself

I built a pipeline for making exam prep questions: 1️⃣ take a long PDF 2️⃣ feed it into the Anthropic API (which can “see” PDFs) to summarize each slide in detail 3️⃣ turn each slide’s description into a dozen questions 4️⃣ use a smaller Anthropic model to score the student’s answer

built a little app to help my girlfriend study for a dental school exam

Anki (the flashcards app) is proof that, if your product is useful enough, you can ship it in a garbage package of terminal-based launchers and inscrutable UI and still be wildly successful
