Hey everyone! I'm Ben! I’m interested in things like technology, gaming, pop music, and politics. Some of my favorite games right now are Minecraft, Among Us, and Flee the Facility on Roblox. If you share any of these interests, consider giving me a follow!

Meta took down the No Kings instagram; TikTok banned the Musk documentary account for supposedly violating its political posting policies. A reminder that platforms are owned by the wealthiest of people, control the means of media distribution, & put their thumbs on the democracy scale as they wish

The iPhone 5c is iconic and I’m not just saying that because it came in green (I’m only saying that because it came in green) #iPhone #iOS #Retro

I’m curious if anyone’s gotten away with using a local LLM on their phone as their main AI assistant 👀

If you own an iPhone, your messages may not be as secure as you think. While iMessages are E2EE, iCloud backups which hold the decryption keys to access your messages, aren’t. You can easily fix this by turning on ADP (Advanced Data Protection) in Settings > iCloud > Advanced Data Protection

I yearn for the day Apple services like (iCloud Photos, Notes, Health and Siri) work reliably with a VPN on

Remember to change your Siri settings to keep conversations for 30 days or a year, this saves iCloud space and preserves privacy

Something I’ve noticed is that I genuinely get the most engagement with my posts on Threads compared to any other microblogging platform 👀

I honestly think most iPhone apps should have the Private Access to Photos option, 99% of apps don't need access to your entire photo library and this is more convenient than the limited access option

It’d be nice if Apple Watch told you when you have a bad fit and need to re-adjust it 👀 If it’s possible to add I think it could be helpful

It would be interesting if a group of people came together to build a digital time capsule and uploading everything in an encrypted file publicly, then assuming quantum computers eventually crack the encryption, the contents become open to the public

I’m curious how many iPhone users actually have Lockdown Mode enabled, of course for most users it’s unnecessary, but it would be interesting to see how many users actually use it

Rumors have it the world would be a better place if more social media sites had the option to select green as an accent color
