I wrote about how I use AI with Obsidian without letting it take over my notes.
The core idea: every AI run should leave a visible diff, an audit trail, and a clear point where I decide whether I trust the result.

I know I'm pretty late to the obsidian <> ai stuff, but after more than 3k notes, I didn't wanted an ai going loose in my vault. But I now have a pretty nice setup that manually sync, snapshot before and after the ai work, and it's been quite helpful! All built by opencode sdk
Thanks a lot React Paris for having me! It was a great conference, with amazing folks joining!

Route-level ownership that TypeScript enforces at compile time. Shared layouts just work. Your IDE tells you when you forgot to assign a team.

After a couple of months, I'm happy to share that @payfiteng.bsky.social main app is now running on @tanstack.com router (250+ routes)!๐
This allowed us to have a snappier app, typesafe routing and found a couple of bugs thanks to better types!
I am planning an article about the approach ๐
We're hiring a senior frontend eng for my team ๐ฏ
looking for someone who wants to:
- scale FE systems for 100+ engineers
- mentor & grow engineering talent
- drive architectural decisions
- work with typescript, react, vite, monorepos

Introducing, tanstack ai! tanstack.com/blog/tanstac...
It's been hard to keep it a secret, but I've loved seeing the tanstack team assemble around this new library to make it awesome! Check it out
Path matching in a router? How hard can it be ๐คทโโ๏ธ.
Hard to do correctly. Very hard to do fast on top of that. This is a great blog post about the recent core refactoring done in @tanstack.com router ๐ฅ
Prisma 7 is here!
๐ฆ Rust-free Prisma Client as the default

๐ค What if there were a conference without talks? Just hanging out with OSS maintainers & builders, seeing what theyโre working on, and learning cool stuff by actually talking to people.
๐คฏ What if hallway track turned into the whole event!

There is some opportunities that feels unreal. This is one of them! I've joined the TanStack Router team to keep pushing the boundaries of typescript and routing!
Huge thanks to @manuelschiller.bsky.social and @tannerlinsley.com for their trust โค๏ธ
I am looking for a full-time job.
Being independent in open source for 3.5+ years has been wonderful. I've gotten done most of the high-level goals I wanted to, and miss having people & structure around me.
If you know of a role for a staff-level TypeScript+web developer, let me know! ๐
I'm really struggling with @pnpm.io , especially around libs that are duplicated since peer are resolved to different version, and singleton instance (like vitest snapshots) breaks... ๐ข
Is there a secret or override all the things ?

Like every couple of weeks, I try @rolldown.rs@vite.dev on PayFit's frontend codebase, but this time, it's all green ๐
And the stats are pretty impressive, from 2m builds down to 8s ! All of that, with nearly no config change (just a polyfill plugin). Maybe it's time to run it in prod ๐
And it's not a "simple" vite repo, in that repo we have:
- @astro.build
- @storybook.js.org with @vitest.dev addon
- @vitest.dev with browser mode, and unit mode
- And a couple of vite frontend apps
Well done to the Rolldown team! ๐
I've loved the digital edition, but I always like a physical editions of the books I've enjoyed a lot!
If you have to deal with legacy codebase, this book is full of actionable and useful tips!
Thanks a lot @nicoespeon.com for writing this!
Linting our biggest codebase with a bunch of rules (including many custom ones) currently takes about 38s.
Adding `--concurrency=auto` dropped it to 12 seconds.
Can't wait for this to be released.
Isaac is an awesome person, very knowledgeable and now, on the market! If you run large monorepos, or codebases in general, I'm sure he will be able to help you out!
I'm offering free 30 minute @nx.dev configuration assessments! DM me with details about your repo and I'll send you a scheduling link.
Last week, I was laid off by Nx, so I get to do what I enjoy doing for now. I'll keep going until I don't want to any more.
And that 2h was from last October!
Now we are at 20 minutes from branch pushed to deployed!
Including merge, dev, staging, e2e and prod deployment ๐

PayFit achieved incredible results with a strategic approach to introducing monorepos in their organization.

๐ Finally found the time to write about what I think the best parts about @tanstack.com Router are. Yes, type-safety (duh), but there is so much more to talk about. Honestly, coupled with React Query, this is the most productive stack Iโve ever worked with ๐

The front page of the leading Hungarian news site today.
A Hungarian software engineer decided to visit his aunt in the US (who lives there on a green card), work remote while visiting, and fly back 2.5 months later (return flight booked)
Interrogated, arrested and sent back.
This is huge!!! (and no, it's not an April fool ๐ ) Kudos to the Nx Team, they have backtracked the original decision, and gave a full refund to the ones that paid for it
Exciting news for Nx users: weโve just expanded our free remote caching options with new APIs and Nx-managed packages! Whether you want a fully managed solution or prefer to self-host, we have something for you. Check out the full details in the comments โฌ๏ธ
Thanks a lot to @sapphi.red , we now have a web worker building! github.com/vitejs/rolld...
And we may have found the reason why it's slower, latest run is 22 seconds faster for PayFit app build on rolldown! ๐
Always bet on Vite.
I tried using the latest build from @rolldown.rs@vite.dev to replace vite in a mono at work, the result are promising! Only one hiccup (Unexpected IIFE format), but I was expecting something faster, it went from vite rollup 1m build to 1m45s with vite-rolldown ๐ฌ
