What a strange night's sleep. Weird and disturbing dreams & at one point woke up suddenly to weird, sparkly shapes dancing in front of my eyes. (No drugs or alcohol were taken!). Dear departed friend, hospice roast dinner cooking failure, partner driven off to the unknown. Not fun #nightmares #sleep

Conwy estuary, with Conwy Castle in the distance at low tide, on a rather grey day! Expected to see lots of birds (being right next to the #RSPB sanctuary) but they were barely any. A couple of gulls & a few curlews. Still a lovely walk. Crazy how much space there is! #northwales #walking #seabirds

The Welsh told the Saxons this hill was called "pen" (meaning "hill"). The Saxons added their word for hill, "tor," and called it Torpen (hill hill). Later the Norse added their world for hill. So it became Torpen Haugr (Hill Hill Hill). Now the English call it Torpenhow Hill (Hill Hill Hill Hill)

If you haven't seen #AnInspectorCalls yet in the theatre then I highly recommend it. Absolutely incredible play with stunning scenery. Visionary indeed and still relevant decades after it was written. Amazing.

I haven't watched #strictly for years but succumbed this evening. As the partner of someone who is blind and watching Chris McCausland, I am a sobbing wreck. He was phenomenal. Who cares about the technicalities. What he did was incredible. I'm feeling rather emotional.
