new for Yahoo Sports, on Daniel Vogelbach, who made a quick pivot to coaching after his playing career ended and has made a big impact behind the scenes and in the dugout for the relentless Milwaukee Brewers offense: sports.yahoo.com/mlb/article/...

Last night, Junior Caminero made a weird defensive choice, Christian Yelich hustled, Pat Murphy made a smart challenge, Cam Booser threw a lot of really hittable pitches, and the Brewers jumped all over him. My Game 3 story, just in time for you to read it before Game 4

blogs.fangraphs.comSink, Florida, Sink: Inside the Rally That Broke the World Series OpenThe Brewers have been on the right side of enough bloops to make you think not only is God real, but that He’s also made of cheese. The fifth inning of Game 3 was not that.

Yesterday I walked to the park and arrived a sweaty mess. Today I took something called an "bus" and for $2 a chauffeur drove me, along with several fellow citizens, to my destination in air conditioned comfort. These things are great! We should have them everywhere!

I've been broken by spending my entire adult life online, so I'm reflexively preparing to fight about Where the Brewers Stack Up All Time. All I'll say is they're going to be the rare champion with no real debate over who the best team was that year, and no serious what-ifs about their title run

Assuming the Brewers close this out, 2026 will be the first time since 1986 that the team with the better record wins every playoff series, and just the fifth time it's happened in the division era (1969- ).

Most of my jokes and headlines are off the cuff but I've had this one in the hopper for a few days

I cannot express how much I appreciated reading that headline this morning.

The Brewers hadn't scored more than 7 runs in a playoff game since Game 1 of *last year's* NLDS. They've scored seven runs since Dan Bellino called Christian Yelich out at second base to end the inning that's still ongoing.

This is full Angels in the Outfield shit. From out of the inning down 2-0 to down 8-0 and on the second pitching change of the inning in the span of what felt like 45 seconds. Booser was out of the game before they read Peralta's line over the press box PA

Robert Gasser was the first player I talked to at media day, and I asked him about controlling the running game now that they were playing a team with any players who aren't old as hell, and he gave me a nothing answer. Apparently the plan was "let them run and wait for them to overslide the bag"

Carly Pearce delivers the first anthem since the Army band in Game 2 of the NLCS that started in the right time signature and stayed there the whole song. It should not be this hard to do The Star-Spangled Banner in 3/4, and finally we get someone who proved it

new @fangraphs.com: The bad send by the Rays third base coach was a Game 2 lowlight, but Liam Hicks has done a very good job on both sides of the ball for the Rays. he's just the second Wild Card era catcher to be traded in midseason and start regularly for a World Series team

What sets the Brewers and Rays apart from other teams is not just their scouting and use of analytics: It’s their ability to develop talent at the big league level. The coaches aren’t just tacticians, they’re educators, writes @baumann.bsky.social

blogs.fangraphs.comThe Brewers, the Rays, and the Pumping of TiresThe key to accessing an athlete’s talent and maximizing their skill turns out to be a little persuasion and a truckload of positivity.

I meant to mention this earlier but I was too busy sweating my ass off: Milwaukee fans have conquered Ferg's. I could hear "Let's Go Brewers!" chants from across the street as I was walking to the park

That might be less an indicator of fan balance than an artifact of Wisconsinites' penchant for highly vocal weekday drunkenness, but the thing that's stuck out for me the past couple weeks is how bad Brewers fans want this. They sound like Eagles fans in July
