Basileus Comic - (Book available at BASILEUSCOMIC.COM)

I have returned! And with me I bring potentially the greatest feat of ecommerce that man, the most prodigious animal in the sphere of merchandising, has ever accomplished, my own website! Yes now YOU can purchase a copy of BASILEUS 1 and I will send it to you! Go to comicstrongbox.square.site

I am recovering from a seasonal ailment and have begun colouring these rare an elusive postcards distributed during the KS. There are still books available! Visit basileuscomic DOT com 2 shop.

This is from "the Kellerite", a part of the larger NIGHTSOIL comic im chipping away at, over the years, on my patreon - which you can find in the next post. A tale of a whole colony of clones of the same man, fighting for survival on a hostile world... 1/2

I took many nice foot path reference pictures which will serve BOOK 2 very well. I think a lot about how the ground is around pathways, in a premodern context. Soon, back to work!

I got to do a cover for Shaolin Cowboy (!!!???!!!)

Round One-- The Man and The Mark is up! I had a lot of fun with this one :D sibspook.com/book-of-caoi... #BOCoct #comic #oct

Praise to the backers! After much leg work the books have been shipped. I still have many copies so if you want one, stay tuned, I will set up a way to order soon. Special thanks to @simonroy.bsky.social for his wisdom and slave master-esque whip cracking.

Look at that pristine Artyom cover!

Since we're promoting Canadian work, look no further! Thoughtfully slow, optimistic, weirdo, slice-of-life scifi with a rural feel! 4 stand alone books, all feeding a larger narrative! Collaborative work between two brothers! Serialized, low-stakes comics for discerning readers! award winning!

This is a funny joke I put in for myself. A man too powerful and arrogant to brush aside a curtain, the alternative of course being to just walk through it. The book has many such little gags.

My minions are scampering rapidly toward many of you, books clutched in their grubby hands.

Summer on the Salt Marsh, this month’s riso print and another entry in the seasonal mouse journey set Slowly building a future story out of these, but for now you can join the print club to get this one (or get all three in the series from my website)

It's been such a long and wild journey, and we're finally ready to present you the first chapter of ENTROPY - store.steampowered.com/app/3940340/Entropy/ - our Dying Earth tactical role-playing game, developed by @lovelyhellplace.bsky.social , and published by @dreadxp.bsky.social!

Another drawing

Hey, Ghost in the Shell freaks! Are these your guys?

Another KS drawing, homage to Louise Billotey.

Only two sleeping periods remain until the Vancouver Comics art festival! Join me there!

just thinking about how she would make a good star for a short comic - a day in the life of a train worker on a hundred-year-old maglev that is only barely holding together

Making drawings. So old, still yet to learn to draw good.

Making images is not sufficient. All artwork is in service and limited by its context. I remember in school artist's sketches being very popular. The context of this was just art students enthusiastic about process. As an artist, you cannot be satisfied with merely inspiring others to rip you off.

Moebius

Watching looney tunes from the 1940s, and the question presents itself, is porky pig the bourgeoisie? I think he is. Also is Elmer fudd Irish? Also did you know he was initially just trying to take a picture of bugs bunny? take that, nature appreciators

Lookin at an old drawing like "the dang brachioradialis should have been occluding the upper arm for optimal foreshortening" I will die having never resolved this error.

A lil sneak peak of the book. Very pleased with the sample print!

You are only TEN bamboozled friends away from snatching that sweet sweet #333 spot!!!

Here's a sneak peak of DEVOURER, the Ruffian Meat story by @aaronlosty.bsky.social and your truly! Please give our campaign a good look, and consider securing a copy of the book for yourself -- there's only 8 days left to do so! www.kickstarter.com/projects/aaronlosty/ruffian-meat-a-comic-anthology

Pirander, ancient scribe of the ruined city of Illyos, wrote centuries ago of the secretive beast-race men call Dwarves. Part 1 www.tumblr.com/thevasthuman... Part 2 www.tumblr.com/thevasthuman...

I did an interview with AIPT about Basileus aiptcomics.com/2026/04/23/b... Very kind of Chris to take an interest in the book!

Kristiano, declaring his manifesto to a robot. More FATHER FRANK with Simon!

Very exciting news from the Iberian Peninsula- a Spanish edition of my book “Habitat” is coming out!

LAST POST I promise. We end the KS around 225% which is well beyond my expectations, and I am very thankful to everyone who took an interest, both in buying something or spreading the word. I hope any new readers are entertained, and interested in the next book, which will be quite good I think.

The cover design is finished! Go check out the whole thing on the kickstarter, and then order a book while you are there. Why not?

ah to be a slippery fellow. Less than 24 hours remain, and we are 220 percent funded! Glory to the backers!

The last print you can add to your order is, of course, this floatin frank robot number. Mein Gotte friends, we have eclipsed 10k, the power level is indeed in excess of 9000.
