Now that I feel a semblance of normal in the midst of my grief, it's time to return to the publishing hustle. Hi all, I'm acquiring SFF&horror for Solaris, now part of Profile! We're curating the best across the genres: commercial, punchy with a strong hook, to literary & strange. My sample list:

First 5 RPGs in chrono 1. Fantasy Age 2. Pathfinder 3. 5e 4. Genisys 5. Monster of the Week (Powered by the Apocalypse)

First five RPGs I thiiiink in order? 1. 5e 2. Blades in the Dark 3. Scum and Villainy 4. Masks 5. City of Mist

I have COVID and I am Angry because I got the jab last week and my acting class final day is Tuesday so Of Course I get it Now. Not having my cat to sit on me and help me feel sorry for myself also sucks. [grumbles herself back to sleep]

I've also been doing acting classes and it rules. (Fighting against all my dramaturgy, lecturing, research, etc to engage with this critically as Stanislavski mutated and just *try* it)

Me: oh amazing we're using [blank] by Alice Birch as our playtext, that makes so much pedagogical sense, we do the same for intro dramaturgy too-- Also me: wait shit now I actually have to build the character and do scene partner work and memorise lines?!
