Twitch just went and allowed AI to scrub your transcripts to make it easier for advertisers to find out if they want to advertise on your channel. But in the real world, radio and TV stations pick who they want to run ads for - or not. So lets tell Twitch we want that control, too. Thanks Coqui!

I've since made it my mission to make every man dress gay, thereby destroying his ability to tell who is actually gay and, ultimately, his chances of finding love. Tomorrow, Discord will place everyone into an age group using account signals. They claim 90% of users won't have to confirm their age. They are also introducing new verification methods if you do need to verify that you are an adult, including Credit Cards and App Stores.

I did a somewhat deep dive into the recent OpenAI and Anthropic "hacks" for an upcoming interview. IMO, the AI companies are better off running with the "rogue AI" story because the real story is actually pretty embarrassing. Like making your Wi-Fi password "wifi" embarrassing. 🧵

I resigned from ExxonMobil today. I spent the last three years doing fossil fuel extraction research at both BP and ExxonMobil. Neither company is acting responsibly. They are racing to maximize extraction while the window to act closes, and gambling with our lives. More below.
