I hunt fake history and correct it, but also post amazing real history stuff. Rude, obscene, vulgar, racist people who can't act like grown-ups get blocked. https://linktr.ee/fakehistoryhunter

They just lowered the price with half a million! And it's my birthday today... just saying... just me being subtle...

Found another real estate gem, in London this time. It's gorgeous, like a time capsule. The front door alone is magical, you'd imagine bumping into Victorian street urchins some foggy evening. The building is over 300 years old, lets go inside.

OMG, someone read my review of this painting and pointed out that the lady appears to have 6 toes, I never even noticed! Did... did we just find evidence of the first ai generated art back in 1663 or did the famous artist make a mistake, or is it a joke, or maybe a message?

Uploaded to the internet in just the last 24 hours, they all mention that the plague doctor mask isn't medieval. Are we finally making progress? Is it because AI finally figured it out and everyone uses that in stead of google?

I was playing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, not a history themed game, so nothing for me to review... but then I saw an old radio, I love old radios so I had to take a good look and then... oh dear... something is missing here 🤨

On this date in 1415 the battle of Agincourt took place. A fascinating bit of history that also gave us Shakespeare's masterpiece 'Henry V' and several glorious films. Here are clips from 3 films showing the famous, delicious, rousing speech:

I didn't think I'd ever say this, but that cover would make me buy a Playboy magazine ;) But of course it's just a fake. Still, if someone is going to make a magazine with just knights posing seductively, I reckon it would sell...

Nicolaes Maes, 'The Eavesdropper', about 1656. I love this painting, such fun. We're part of the story, the woman on the stairs is telling us to be quiet so we can hear what's happening in the next room... Hush!

I guess I'm not the only one who when I was little thought After Eights were very very expensive. My parents knew better but let me believe this for years so they didn't have to buy them! Well played 1980s adult, working together to fool the kids ;)

Another history themed advent calendar. I love this. Just 26 parcels with old stuff inside. Made me think of the advent calendar my mum once made for me 🥹 Tempring! Would be fun to unpack with all of you together here online. www.etsy.com/listing/4406...

History themed advent calendar. Looks nice but the only Wedgwood I'm interested in are the 18/19th century ones with anti slavery messages. I'd pay good money for replicas of those. But I wouldn't pay 600 quid for this. bsky.app/profile/fake...

Sometimes all the wisdom and truth in the world can be found on the side of an 18th century Wedgwood teapot; Health to the sick Honour to the brave Success to the lover And freedom to the slave Sharing this one again because it's awesome, someone should start reproducing these.

I've already got a Taskmaster Advent Calendar but I also want a history themed one. But I hate shopping. So, fellow history addicts, do you know of any cool history themed advent calendars? If I get one I'll show whats behind each door on here every day. Fun!

Biblioteca Casanatense Ms. 459 - Historia Plantarum, Tacuinum Sanitatis, late 14th century. I have no idea what's going on here, but it's hilarious. Dave is doing some blacksmithing, junior is running around in his underwear trying to scare a dog away?
