For the past 3 days I’ve gotten a pair of dress socks from 3 different students with the message “happy birthday”. My birthday is 18 days away, am I going to get socks everyday? Why socks? I’m so confused. And I know they are doing this to confuse me and it’s working!

Kinda enjoy the fact that my vote counts the same as his and cancels out his state office votes.

This is a blunt assessment of what the Trump regime is proposing for US science: they plan to take all the funding, essentially collapsing university-based research, in order to give that money to themselves, and they are lying about it.

As long as I’m a teacher in Florida I will never teach a class that Florida politicians create. I teach AP classes because they have an international standard. I’m also a math/science teacher so this doesn’t apply to me. But apparently the GOP has their own type of math.

The New York Times@nytimes.com

Florida has created a new U.S. history course that advances a more conservative interpretation of the nation’s story. It focuses on the Protestant faith of the founders, argues that the U.S. Constitution is an antislavery document and recommends a textbook written explicitly to build patriotism.

I realize I will never have the experience of coaching a high school football team against a rival and this is the closest thing to it. So, I let them continue to play Minecraft in class to beat our closest rival scholar program. Call me a bad teacher, idc. I have school pride tho
