Your favourite wrestler of all time vs. Your favourite current wrestler (vibe edition) 🤼

Deeply honoured Jesse Brown chose to end his 13-year-run on Canadaland by going on a batshit tangent claiming I participated in some kind of conspiracy Here’s the story that made me a permanent resident inside this guy’s head:

There’s a lot of clips going around of Jesse Brown’s Value Village Ben Shapiro shtick in Edmonton but I think we’re all missing that the event room looks empty as fuck and he’s terrible at what he’s trying to do. Embarrassing on every level.

No ISBNs in Canada for AI writing. This is a fantastic policy, and every country should do the same. www.canada.ca/en/library-a...

Robert Kraft has only encouraged more people than ever to do this.

Saying "I don't like victims of abuse" is a pretty weird way to say "I am uncomfortable with abuse"

So long, you magnificent Bastard.

It is striking that after years of wrestling’s perceived locker room leaders being the tough guys who taped their fists and laid down the law on rookies, it’s clearly the guy calling everyone asking “are you alright”.

It was really important for TK to let the world know how much Ben meant to everyone he touched. I filmed this. It was hard not to stop & hug Tony. Gave him a big hug after. If you haven't expressed what someone means to you in a healthy manner, let them know. Make the time. Life is too short.

Spoiler alert and whatnot. You don't have to completely understand how someone lives their life in order to LET someone live their life.

Brilliant new interview with @doctorow.pluralistic.net. @politicsjoe.bsky.social's coverage of tech has been outstanding, I hope they’re getting the credit they deserve: no tech-hype propaganda, AI is discussed as a political tool and a tool to discipline workers. www.youtube.com/watch?v=PL4V...

My thoughts on the passing of George Chuvalo - that big bruised face with a big bruised heart that nobody could ever knock down. charlieangus.substack.com/p/thoughts-o...

Had this talk last night, but right now I’m the ONLY non-male voice doing English language commentary for a major promotion And no one on TV. No one contracted. That needs to change

Anyway, it is Day 7 of the Be Specific Challenge, where I beg any reporter talking to these tech CEOs about how, exactly, AI is going to make us extinct in a year. If they dreamscape 50 hypotheticals, ask them to be specific, because they are doing a creative writing exercise for money, not policy.

George Chuvalo has died. Born on this day in 1937, he was a five-time Canadian heavyweight champion and twice fought Muhammad Ali. In 93 fights, he was never knocked down. Ali called him the toughest man he ever fought. He had 73 wins, 64 by knockout. RIP Champ. 📸 Toronto Sun

Here is a first for me -- covering a music festival. St-Roch XP is amazing and you should all come to Quebec City to check it out next year. Also, I'm not a photographer but the photos aren't so bad. www.weraddicted.com/st-roch-xp-q...
