Good gravy, I started turning my scene notes into a to-do list. This is going to get worse before it gets better. Why am I committing-but-not-really to this?
My book series’s draft pile is turning two at the start of November. Part of me is tempted to see if I can pull together a mostly complete draft of book one before then. There’s only a few scenes entirely unwritten. Rest are in various versions through the pile.

Finally was able to sit down and try this out. I had a few records floating around in my repo from testing sites that I wanted to remove. The UI of Aturi made it VERY easy to do so. Definitely something to keep bookmarked.
You can now edit your atproto spaces data with Aturi! Try it: aturi.to/explore/spaces If you’re already signed in, you may need to re-authenticate to pick up the new permission scopes.

When I was nearing the end of college, it felt like every conversation about my interests and what I was doing with my time was hinged entirely on the notion of "how does that earn you money?" That persisted through my 20s.
One of the great joys of my adult life has been realizing that I can just pick up a new skill every so often, take a fun little class in it weekly for a year or two, and simply enjoy meeting people and getting medium proficient and not attempting to become professional in it at all!

I wrapped up the core structure of the conlang that will appear in my novel series. Most of it will never show on page but a) it gives more cultural information on the speakers and b) if anyone ever tries to show the language in video, at least it has consistency now! #WeeknightWriters
Q3: Let's cheer things up a bit! What has brought you joy in the past week? Remember, no joy is too small! #WeeknightWriters

I keep having to remind myself that authors throughout history have written masterpieces during tumultuous times. Artists have always had to struggle with the balance of acting for the greater good and creating their works. If they can do, so can we. #WeeknightWriters
Q1: How are you holding up this week? (Or not holding, as the case may be) #WeeknightWriters
Hello #WeeknightWriters! I've made the daring decision this week to go back and *gasp* actually finish the START of my novel (I do not write linearly) and make it an actual thing that builds the world and shows the plot and all that.
Hello #WeeknightWriters ! Come on in, introduce yourself and your WIP, and let us know how your writing week is going! Or not going, that's valid too

I have a real talent for booking trips on the exact weekends of cities' pride events. wrote about the strange feeling of walking against that flow last month, and what survives when you hand a feeling like that to fiction.
