love that this has a tab that lets you see notifications from people you follow

alex benzer@alexbenzer.com

we're testing a new beta version of the Notifications tab! it has new tabs to help you notice priority notifications, and it uses new grouping logic to reduce noise (e.g. when one person likes a bunch of your posts). disclaimer: it's a beta, not a final version. send us your feedback! :)

the only thing that could make this day worse is if i found out that chrishell stause and g flip have separated

it is well known that in a real documentary people aren’t allowed to lie

STAT@statnews.com

“'You Can See Everything' is a hilarious, thrilling, fascinating, beautiful piece of art. What it certainly is not is a documentary, and it’s dangerous to pretend that it is,” writes Theranos whistleblower Tyler Shultz. https://bit.ly/4Bk2nDJ

This is a sweet one. Congrats to the team, including my Lex Lumina colleagues Rhett Millsaps, Mark McKenna, and Mark Lemley.

VICTORY! EFF, our co-counsel and our clients have won our lawsuit against the U.S. Office of Personnel Management. A judge agreed OPM violated the law when it disclosed millions of federal employee records to DOGE agents. The court will decide the remedy at a later date.

More importantly, those sales teams have shrunk down significantly while lists grow so there’s actually no time for these teams to read and recommend like they could even 5 years ago. Sales teams in publishing have to sell hundreds of titles every year with very little time or information.

Maris Kreizman@maris.bsky.social

I spoke about corporate consolidation and how sales teams across imprints are told which books to prioritize. And also book coverage in general interest outlets -- where once these publications were tastemakers, now they want to talk about a book only once everyone's already talking about it.

at the end of “seven” it is not gwyneth paltrow’s actual head in the box

Amy "Thunderjam" Chase@amythunderjam.bsky.social

We all know the "Viggo broke his toe" story but what's another movie fact you're personally compelled to bring up every time without prompting? For me, it's the fact that Robin Tunney is wearing a wig in The Craft because of having just shaved her head to save her job filming Empire Records.

it’s rude of them to play the canadian national anthem before hockey games in canada, considering i’m american

as bad as espn’s hockey coverage is at least i don’t have to worry about pat mcafee or stephen a. showing up

@kleinman.bsky.social 's work inspired me to dramatize the future Republicans want as an Oregon Trail -like journey across a country ravaged by rightwing legislative extremism. It sucks! games.gregpollock.net/state-of-the...

James Hell Brooks@kleinman.bsky.social

For the past two years I've been tracking every bill proposed in state legislatures across the country to figure out what Republican plans for the future are. The answer, based on these 1,182 bills, is that they want to repeal the 20th Century heartlandsignal.com/2026/09/09/b...

well i feel like a fool i just learned he is not talking about our history of gastrointestinal issues

it’s worth bookmarking this piece because kat methodically demolishes the false narratives and lies being spread about this case

Kat Tenbarge@kattenbarge.bsky.social

Over the past two weeks, I’ve been following the attempts to smear the Jane Doe in the Cornell University gang rape case and redirect blame from the seven fraternity men onto her. As usual, this campaign is built on a mountain of lies and misogyny. spitfirenews.com/p/cornell-ja...

i have a very good sense of direction irl but a terrible one in video games and let me tell you i have never had more “wait this is where i started fifteen minutes ago” moments than in control resonant

maybe instead of posting about baseball y’all should work on making sure the base goes to the ballot box

sorry but we are NOT doing a second round of the inane “iced coffee at a job interview” discourse. please adjust your posting schedule accordingly

we need a nancy mace of the left

Andy Vitek@avitek.bsky.social

So Nancy Mace is now hosting a podcast called 'Get Maced' in a leather catsuit. And no you did not hallucinate that sentence.
