Just to be clear... Prop 40 is a ONE-TIME retroactive tax. It applies ONLY to billionaires and would tax just 5% of their wealth — which grew 30% in 2025. California's billionaires would still be worth $2T+ AFTER the tax. The revenue will fund healthcare for millions of Californians. Vote YES.

Yeah I disagree. I think we're mentally prepared but I think actual physical violence is something that you cannot really prepare for in any type of legal sense (because you don't know who's going to instigate it, right?) I think we're all well aware that violence is a potential here.

So I think by now it's obvious that the social media owners of X and Facebook are not simply offering platforms, which would give them extensive immunity from liability. I think they now should own liability, having decided to be active participants and put their thumb on the scale intentionally.
