The Trump regime’s response to inflation is to tell us we actually like it.

Brooke Rollins: "Instead of eating less beef as the price continued to rise, Americans began to eat more beef. And even though the price of a pound of ground beef was $6.50, most Americans say, 'I'm good with that. I want this protein for my family.' So they continue to buy."

I wonder if “President Natalie” will be showing this to him…. on upside it’s so nice not to hear his voice! If anything of matter actually occurred it’ll get back to us. For a guy who needs photo ops to breathe. I would say he’s probably now in respiratory distress… Count the pluses!

LMFAO -- Trump is holding an event at the White House right now but there's no audio because the press pool isn't there. The Newsmax host notes that this is an example of Trump's attacks on the press "backfiring just a little bit"

Trump, with no microphone, is just another asshole with a big mouth but no one listening.

You HAVE to listen to this Newsmax reporter trying to cope: “Yeah…they…okay, so there is no microphone because the pool cameras aren't there...this is one example of it backfiring just a little bit um…and um, obviously the ramifications are right here, you can’t hear what the president is saying…” 😂

So much damage in two years. You wouldn't think it was possible, except of course if it been done on purpose, like they wrote out an entire playback ahead of time about how they were going to do this very thing when they got in power. Project 2025

if this is all it took to get the deal over the line than the AGs allowed themselves to be massively fleeced by Paramount

This is the way. I know it’s a delicate balance between covering legitimate public interest stories and First Amendment concerns, but it’s about time the press showed some balls.

Having been in a Armored Cavalry unit in Vietnam,an M-60 Tank from 1 to 1 1/2 miles away could decimate his stupid arch with a couple of well aimed HE rounds! What a stupid idea. Anyone trying to be a sniper would be sitting ducks from either Tanks or Aircraft. That arch would be a prime target!WTF?

12/ This is benefit loss by accumulation: another form, another review, another medical judgment, another deadline. Save every notice. Document disability & caregiver exemptions early. Appeal immediately. Help older relatives check their mail. Make every wrongful loss visible.

11/ A proposed Trump rule could reduce or end SSI for as many as 400,000 disabled & low-income older people living with family by treating shelter as income. It is proposed, not final. My earlier breakdown: bsky.app/profile/digi...

Digital Warrior - Combat Disinfo@digitalwarrior.bsky.social

1/The Trump Admin is bringing back a "bedroom tax" for the disabled. By rewriting a single definition, they can now claim that a disabled adult living with parents is "receiving a gift." The result? A massive benefit cut that targets 400,000 Americans. #DV1 #ProudBlue #Voices4Victory #USDemocracy

1/7 The "Work Requirement Trap" is coming for the community. Starting Jan 1, 2027, OBBBA forces millions of Medicaid enrollees to document 80 hours of "work or community engagement" a month. 7/ Starting in 2027, Medicaid expansion adults must renew every six months instead of yearly. CBO expects most losses after the added checkpoint to be procedural, not findings that people no longer qualify. Full explanation: bsky.app/profile/digi...

Digital Warrior - Combat Disinfo@digitalwarrior.bsky.social

1/ Republicans found a way to cut Medicaid without telling millions they no longer qualify: make them reapply twice as often, then count on eligible people missing the paperwork. That is not a glitch. The government’s own budget math depends on it. #DV1 #ProudBlue #Voices4Victory #USDemocracy

6/ In a six-state review, paperwork caused over 72% of studied SNAP losses among seniors. Meanwhile, home-care workers are losing hours while benefit systems demand more of their time. I traced who profits from this maze: bsky.app/profile/digi...

Digital Warrior - Combat Disinfo@digitalwarrior.bsky.social

1/ 🧵 A home care worker who keeps an 84 year old out of a nursing home now has less time to do it, because her own government benefits got harder to keep. Shorter deadlines. More paperwork. Fewer office hours to call for help. #DV1 #ProudBlue #Voices4Victory #USDemocracy

5/ Older people are not all protected. SNAP work rules now reach ages 55–64. Medicaid work rules reach some adults through 64. People 65+ are generally outside those work rules, but still face SNAP paperwork, SSI changes, home-care pressure & nursing-home cuts.
