Installed!

UPDATE: I was able to install GrapheneOS using this guide. My banking doesn't work unless I enable "Exploit protection compatibility mode" in "App info". All good to install on my main phone! discussion.fedoraproject.org/t/guide-use-...

might install grapheneos on my old pixel 9a to see if my banking app works fine on there. I'll probably have to tinker around with it but eh, worth it.

oh yeah right, my wish came true!

wip: an emulation mirror where state is provided by a classic mac and driven by the mirror on a new mac built entirely using objects and typed events rather than pixels and click coordinates its a mess rn, but this one's gonna be super cool

I really hope "I see Israel in my dreams" lady doesn't win the Michigan Senate primary

didn't that guy bomb a hospital with civilians and injured peoples inside? I know he admitted fault or whatever but his war crimes didn't stop there. I don't get the glorification of Obama. 40-47 are just constant war criminals

These gals make me so happy and proud of myself.

wow!

Better than Adventure is very fun. I really recommend this mod (basically a fork) of Minecraft b1.7.3 (I think that's the base version). I didn't grow up playing this version of Minecraft so I don't have much nostalgia for it but I really see the value, passion, and greatness in beta Minecraft.

saw this giant web the other day. it connected to the hood of a truck to the roof of a house. spiders are so cool. do you think some have architecture degrees?

I miss blogging. I should do more of that again.

Got most of my devices syncing with each other via Syncthing. It's not a lot but it feels nicer than running a docker image of Nextcloud. will tryyy to get Copyparty work sometime.

I made a Google search today out of a bad habit, but I remembered to put "-ai" at the end of the search to prevent AI overview. It still showed up. Can't make this shit up.

BRING BACK MANUALS

I really dislike seeing anti-ai posts that USE AI. Aussie flag is unrealistically large, the turbine placements don't make sense and where is the sense of scale?

Meta is that evil corporation in a Bond movie that you think "surely this couldn't ever exist in real life!" ohhh boy it sure does.

I'm going to admit: while the Wii U isn't my most favorite gaming console it's definitely up there on my list. it's not a good console by any means. it's the worst one I've ever owned but my love for the Wii only transfers over and the charm of the device is contagious.

I like reading somebody suggest that we should replace all the standards with a new universal standard. it's a great idea until you realize that it just creates a new standard amongst the already confusing list of standards. looking at you USB.

I'm really disappointed in those who think Newsom would make a great candidate for president. He's the classic greedy opportunistic politician. He doesn't stand up for trans rights or the homeless. The Party really never learns.

Who wants this? Who asked for this? I received this update yesterday and I remember thinking "what's the improvement?".

Most of the food you'll be eating today wasn't invented by Native born Americans. Instead they were made by those who immigrated here for a brighter future. This country was built off immigration, which is great. But it was also built on genocide.

Passed my Cisco CCST Networking (100-150) Exam today!

SONY ending production of game discs for the PS5 is a reminder that piracy in this day and age is completely justifiable and morally correct.
