Wore a femme top out in public for the first time, to a string quartet performance at the art museum and the restaraunt after. I was so nervous initially, and by a little while in I forgot I was wearing anything out of my ordinary.

Had a little panic attack last night. Hadn't seen her around for days. Kept expecting her to show last night but she never did. Once we finished watching we realized a bunch of people were at respawn up some stairs. Without thinking I charged up them, until I was unexpectedly staring right at her.

Navigating this has been hell. It'd be easier if I had clearer boundaries and understanding if a *future* friendship is even a possibility, or if I need to walk on eggshells around her from now until forever. But I believe if I approach her to ask about those boundaries, it's likely to backfire.

I'm so inexperienced at navigating breakups, and I'm really trying to avoid all the obnoxious ex behaviors and pitfalls. I haven't sent her some "deep" heartfelt letter. I haven't tried to friend her again. I've even avoided events I suspected she'd want to go to. It still feels like I'm messing up.

I had a lot of fears run through my head all at once and so I sat there, mute and frozen. The panic was snowballing pretty bad for a bit, but I got it under control. Eventually I shrunk down and slid over to a side of the group. Then it became Operation Be Fucking Normal About Things.

I didn't talk much, but I was trying to at least make little acknowledgement noises and chuckles at silly stuff at the end to other people. When she was leaving, I did indirectly quietly say "goodnight" because ignoring it would've felt wrong. I really, genuinely don't know if it was welcome.

I'd checked the user list all night to see if she had arrived so I could prepare myself, but I had assumed not by that point. They were all tiny, and I think she waved me over and told me to get small with them, I'm unsure if that was directed at me. I just froze.

I know it's a lot to juggle as a solo creator, but I shouldn't have to look at your X to see the latest installments of your webcomic. Posting it here or your dedicated comic Tumblr barely has time cost to it.

Previously I have posted about a Nintendo of Europe downloadable premium animated wallpaper that featured a bizarre Toad eating the wallpaper. The files have finally been datamined, allowing the Wallpaper-Eating Toad to be observed in never-before-seen maximum quality.

By the way, I don't say this to ignore people being kind here, or old friends. It's just a different thing. I've spent a lot of my life before this interacting with people passively, like on social networks like this, or rarely feeling like I was really part of the group. I missed this part of life.

Went to check on a friend also dealing with some things winding down at Fish, until I was too tired to keep going. It was a good night, and I wasn't in my head about things, just being my solo self and still invited and wanted by caring folks. That's still so... mindblowing to me.

I see you supporting me and offering advice and I really appreciate it. It means a lot that you read it at all, especially when it's venting few want to deal with.

I was doing really well yesterday. Attended a great community event, chatted with friends, unintentionally got them to watch My Adventures with Superman, we joined another group watching Ernest, I got to bop in a club for a little bit and was even kindly invited to another movie I had to bow out of.

And... my brain saw I was having too much of a good time and cranked the "Fuck Her Up" dial. It dreamed a conversation that came at things from this angle I hadn't considered before. It wrecked me. ...I can't even unpack it fully because it was a fading dream and I woke up in a muddled haze.

So I woke up an hour ago with a head full of mixed, confused emotions, some of which I know are fake, and I'm feeling a bit scrambled now. I don't even think it would happen, I'm just sad my brain is messing with itself like that. Especially when I felt like I was doing well yesterday and moving on.

Didn't really watch YouTube for a few weeks, but when I did check in it seemed rather dry. Took me a while to realize how much of my subscriber feed it was straight up ignoring. People I've consistently watched dozens, *hundreds* of videos from. All because I skipped a week or two.

Yes I use the Subscription page, but at this point you can't get away from all the suggested relevant feeds, and when they work they're helpful. But here I took a week off and suddenly it thought I was sick of them all. That's the dagger hanging over the heads of every creative relying on YouTube.

Nearly skipped the hangout last night. I missed most of it, and many familiar faces weren't there, instead on Orange in an event I couldn't see, around the time... she likes to run a weekly event. So brain wasn't doing nice things. ⛈️ But I'm glad I went to hangout. I did see some and talked, a lot.

It really was good to hang out with them, a mellow, thoughtful night in a lot of ways. One friend even mentioned they were really glad I showed up as a familiar face, which made it worth it, and two others in particular have been really there for me recently, which I appreciate so much.

It's also probably the last night I'll be able to hang out with a friend for a while (about to have a kid), so it was a little bittersweet, but I'm glad I got that opportunity to spend the evening's end with him and another friend. I hope he can find spare bits of time to pop back in, eventually.
