Alphaknight

Hi everybody! Let me introduce myself! I am a hobbyist #gameboy #dev, making games for my favourite console! If you want to check my work go to alphaknightt.itch.io! My current project is PARALLAXIS, an FTL inspired, roguelite with turn based combat. Check the demo if you are interested.

Parallaxis showcase video A grant space adventure for the original #gameboy. Made in #GBStudio and with love and dedication. Check the demo here: alphaknightt.itch.io/parallaxis

I was looking what preorders @homebrew-factory.com had and I saw Rusty Flesh needing 1 more. I wanted to chip in @wastelandgames.bsky.social game, so production is now guaranteed! Congrats!

📢Big news from Homebrew Factory! You asked for it, and it’s finally here:
Game Boy and Game Boy Color support is now live! Launch a pre-order campaign, or go straight to production. And we have a brand new Fulfillment by Homebrew Factory service. ➡️ creator.homebrew-factory.com

A GRUMPY DAY (DEMOSCENE) // "It's a short story dedicated to those who are empathetic. They are always there, trying to lighten the mood when we get grumpy and sad." Authors: Alphaknight, incognitio #GameBoy #Demoscene #gameboyshowdown alphaknightt.itch.io/a-grumpy-day

My and @incognitio.bsky.social entry for Game Boy Showdown. It's my first work with color and a cute style. It was June's idea to add color and it helped me a lot to learn and grow my knowledge! Really happy to have her on board on this jam! #gbstudio #gameboy #jam alphaknightt.itch.io/a-grumpy-day

Ever wondered how to extract all dialog texts in @gbstudio.dev ? Useful to generate a single file in case you need to translate your game. Here is a how-to 🔨 video: youtu.be/SZOEGIWaZAc?... article: www.playmakina.com/en/post-2025... #gamedev #gameboy #GBStudio #indiedev

Made for @alphaknight.bsky.social for their game Parallaxis on itch.io! Go check it out!!

Just before Christmas, I leave you some gameplay of the latest boss I worked on. This one will be the first real roadblock, if not prepared... #GBStudio #gameboy #gamedev #pixelart #retro

I wanted to make one of the rescues in the game to turn into a hostile enemy, and this is the result. It's not perfect but I am having so much fun making them! #gbstudio #gameboy

@gameengines.bsky.social I would like the GB Studio label please!

Some of you may have noticed some #gameboy games disappearing from the #Etsy shop over the past 3 months. I've been trying to contact Etsy since they removed the first one, but it took 2,5 months to finally get an actual reply instead of the automated ones.

#Etsy finding a way to kick off legit #GameBoy homebrew carts from an *authorized* seller, while simultaneously ignoring the bootleg GameBoy vendors on their site. 🤔 @ferrantecrafts.bsky.social has published my GB carts for a couple years now (Petris, GB-Wordyl), been very happy with the them.

Can you help me out by reposting this? I'm creating a web app arcade. saltandpixel.com/arcade-beta-... The games are PWAs which can be played on anything with browser support - PC or Mobile. They can also be installed as an app or executable. #gamedev #pixelart #videogames
