Humph! in my poor, insignificant opinion, I regard this as queer.

Here’s our trailer for the Far-Fetched animated pilot, coming November 13th!

wild to discover that the comic anthology I bought on eBay a year and a half ago is now being listed for twice as much I would be *so mad* at myself right now if I had passed it up back then

In thoughts of the visions of the night, I saw long rows of angels in paradise, each with his hands in a jar of spermaceti.

Three years ago, my dad said that all fish are the same shape. Out of spite, I decided to draw all 478 families of bony fish listed in Nelson 2016. There's still some stuff I need to edit and some fish I want to redraw but, after 985 days, I finished my big dumb fish project last night.

I got Trans-Siberian Orchestra's "Christmas Eve and Other Stories" from the library and it's all the sound of Christmas morning with my mom back home forget kids waking the adult up, she'd put this exact CD on full blast at, what, 7 AM or whatever

the flashback here refers to a page published April 30, 2007: www.girlgeniusonline.com/comic.php?da...

finally tasted some homemade sauerkraut tonight that had been fermenting ~7 weeks. much saltier and less sour than any I'd tasted before. friggin delicious, especially paired with potatoes

this is the easiest 5 ever do I have to sit next to Chris? yes do I have to spare Chris a moment's attention? no Cassie and I get to chat while Chris argues with Bruno Tomato over his right to put his seat back

folks talking about YOU CAN SEE EVERYTHING and all I can think is

(paraphrased) *watching Space Ghost Coast To Coast* Sara: why do I know the name Timothy Leary? me: *checks Wikipedia, plays "Give Peace a Chance" by Lennon/Oko* hm, no, cool that he was there but his name is barely discernible… *plays "The Seeker" by The Who* there you go

*Lain spills her coffee, reads "fulfill the prophecy" in it* ohhhhhhh… she's bipolar

got hired at a Radio Shack in Boston. during orientation, it was made abundantly clear that my job was not to help people with tech questions, but rather to pressure hapless tourists into buying cell phones and batteries they didn't need walked out before I ever hit the floor

democrats will throw you under the bus and then get mad at you for not being on the bus

I am entirely serious when I say that this should be seen as a moderate position. It specifically and surgically dismantles institutions that did not exist pre-9/11 and assigns their functions much as they were assigned pre-9/11.

finally watching SERIAL EXPERIMENTS LAIN, on the recommendation of @dresdencodak.com weird to think I was very close to Lain's age at the time it first aired in 1998

watched HALLOWEEN for the first time tonight, and my prevailing thought was: high school babysitters, in 1978? that's my mom. Jamie Lee Curtis is just a few years older than my mom

thinking of THE SWAN PRINCESS in part b/c I watched a video of one of the songs with very obviously computer-generated subtitles most egregiously "Derek and Odette" rendered as "dairy candle debt" but also amused by "love" being so unintelligible it leaned onto the choir with "my idea of LORD"

They’re live-streaming the execution of the person they think they can get away with doing that to first. It’s a test. If they can do that, they’ll expand the margins of permission.

even more this re: Annie Andrews

movies watched this week include COOL WORLD and AMERICAN PSYCHO fun fact: both feature a David Bowie song over the end credits

UMBERT ACTUALLY! EP 8!!! Why are Queer cartoon characters censored?! #UmbertActually #UnionYaoi #MistermanGuyfella #Jellybox #IndieAnimation

phlebotomist had to draw from the back of my hand for the first time today the double-whammy of feminizing HRT: you require more blood tests, but your veins become harder to locate I used to bleed so well

woke up to a note reading FAST BLOOD stuck to my tablet (a reminder to myself not to eat anything until after I've had labs drawn)

and yet: suffered a few more kernel panics today, with one fairly catastrophic. I'm back to using the external drive, and so shall it be for the foreseeable future
