60 people have now died in ICE custody since Trump's return to office. Our country is set to spend $268 BILLION on mass deportations and detentions through the end of Trump's term. Instead of death and cruelty, imagine what we could have invested that money in instead?

My heart is heavy. Walter Koenig, our Ensign Pavel Chekov, passed away early today. Walter and I met on the bridge of the Enterprise in the 1960s, and we stayed friends for nearly six decades. When Brad and I married in 2008, Walter stood beside us as our best man.

Hope he’ll have to spend rest of life apologizing for his disastrous mistakes and use what he personally gained in office to pay for repairing/replacing everything he’s ruined. Also, work in a mine six days a week till he understands what it means to work for a living…. this’ll take a while.

Corporate profits are at record highs — but revenue from corporate taxes has plummeted thanks to the tax cuts in Trump and Republicans’ big, ugly bill. Meanwhile, workers’ wages are stagnant and their share of the nation’s income is at a record low. Trickle-down economics was always a hoax.
